Aa you can see in the pictures there are 2 small tools to use for the rope to go into the tight area. This helps place the straps properly so, it's secure enough. The front is a plastic film. Very sturdy. I was surprised how it has no cracks. My son has thrown it around roughly a few times and it's yet to break. Good purchase, good product, would definitely recommend.
