We installed this in a bedroom closet. The closet was very dark as the bedroom light was not in position to shed light into it. This was a perfect fix. The motion sensor is responsive and works great. Have not yet had to charge it. Will update review if any issues with that. We are most pleased with this purchase!

This thing flashes all the time! It's like it doesn't know if it should be on or off, for both settings. There's no way to just have it stay on either. It's only on if you move. I don't make big enough moves for this thing I guess cause while I'm looking in my closet it turns off on me... heck I put it in the hall and it turned off on me there too. My roommates also complained about how bright the light was coming in through the bottom of their doors. Honestly when the house is completely dark and that turns on in the hallway is like you just got hit by a flood light! Yet, when a little light is around it also doesn't always seem bright enough.I hate this thing but my roommate used it to repaint his room and got paint on it so I couldn't return it!

Not quit bright enough for a room but excellent for my closet. At 500 lumens it is more than enough for me I have a walk in closet the size 10 x 19 ft. Motion detection is excellent as well soon as I walk it it turns on every time.

I just moved into a place where my living room has no lighting. I thought this would be helpful so I bought it. First I charged it up and set it up where a normal light bulb would live in the living room ceiling. Set up the motion sensor and boom it worked perfectly. Every time I open my front door at night it automatically turns on. It’s a great light for the matter, however I noticed the first time I charged it the light was red indicating the battery was low while plugged in to the power. It then turned blue when charge was complete. I did notice the next time I charged it, it never turned blue again. It seems to stay on red the entire time. Seems ro still be working so I don’t mind. I would have liked for this light to have a remote control included other than that I am very grateful and glad with this product.

After receiving the motion sensor light, I charged it to full and tested out the brightness with a lumen reader. It was 400 lumens instead of the advertised 500 on the website, but all the other features are as stated besides the batteries as I don't want to open it to test the capacity. The product is a 4/5 because of the wrong lumen but otherwise works as advertised.

NOTW: If you put it in the ceiling, use yood anchors. The lighting unit was difficult to unscrew from the mounting bracket and i had to use some force to twist it off, and the mounting bracket pulled right out. I pit it back up using hollow-wall anchors and its more secure now.ALSO: Charge does not last 60-90 days as advertised, unless you like a dimmer light. I had to charge at 30 days.I installed mine in the ceiling above my shower. It is nice and bright, and the motion sensor is especially convenient for using the bathroom in the middle of the night.

Motion sensing works well, actually might be toooo sensitive, i put some clear tape on half of the sensor so it doesn’t trigger as often. Using it as a shower light, no issues with the moisture/humidity so far but time will tell. It’s lighter than expected, installs easily with a couple of screws, didn’t even use anchors though i’m using a side wall, not ceiling.Charge lasts quite a long time, i’d say at least a month (with usage at about 20 mins a day). It’s got a darkness only as well as an any light level motion sensing options via a physical toggle switch.My only issues with it was that the initial removing of the wall plate from the unit was insanely difficult (easy to do after the plate is nailed to the wall), and i wish the light came in a warmer color temp like 3000k - this looks like it’s around 4000-5000, reminds me cafeteria fluorescent lighting.UPDATE 6/30 - so i liked this light so much that when i saw they came out with a 3000k version i ordered it. first one that came was broken, the light or battery inside was disconnecting, rattling around the case. fine, stuff happens, returned it, ordered another - this one looked absolutely used, dirt on the back casing, some wet spots. this one seems to work fine though, so i'm keeping it because i don't want to see what they'll send me next :-). anyway, gotta knock off 2 stars for the quality control (or lack of). buyer beware

It worked for about 48 hours, then it started to act funny. It doesn't seem to charge correctly (the light changes from red to green if you tap it slightly when charging), and the light either stays off until you tap it, or it stays on and flickers horribly.
