2 Piece Mess Tin Set - Aluminium

Nice set of mess tins used for camping. Lost a star as they have (deeply) scratched after only two uses, so suspect they are not ideal if using knife and fork with them, but a spoon would not scratch them. Also scratches are not really too big a deal for a mess tin as they are not your vest China after all, bit makes them more difficult to clean.

The price was good, looks good quality and sturdy. The real tests will be in a few weeks, but worth the money at this stage .

Sturdy,practical and nice sizePackable and easy to carry on trip

good quality mess tins and work as well as the more expensive ones. Only thing to look out for is if you are using them on a camp fire the handles can get pretty hot, I wrapped the handles in string and that stopped the problem pretty easily.

Theses tins are large enough to get a decent sized meal in them (roughly 3 tins of beans for the bigger one).
