The Provence Rooibos is a top grade herbal tea from South Africa. This delicious tea includes Rooibos, rosehip shells, dried black currants, rose leaves, lavender, raisins, dried red currants, rose petals, and dried blueberries. Rooibos, meaning Red Bush in Afrikaans, is grown at the altitude of 2000 feet above sea level in the Cedarberg region. Fermentation of the Rooibos turns the leaves from green to deep red and gives a slight sweet note. When brewed this tea produces a reddish orange liquid with a sweet fruity taste and a floral aroma. Research has shown Rooibos tea to be a rich natural source of antioxidants with a high level of flavonoids. The absence of caffeine makes it an ideal drink, even at night.

Excellent tea
This is my favorite flavor of loose tea. I hope Amazon never stops carrying it as it is difficult to find. It has a bit of a floral scent and taste but nothing overpowering. It is so relaxing to sit and sip a cup of tea in the afternoon and take a few minutes out of your busy schedule for a bit of quiet time. Everyone I have introduced to this tea has also liked it just as well and was surprised at the beautiful aroma and flavor.

amazingly delicious tea
my first time trying rooibos.This provence rooibos is a great blend, w/both florals, and fruits. It came with steeping instructions on the back of the resealable flexible foil bag (in chart form, for a few different tea types). It was so good that I ended up drinking the whole 12oz pot (surprising for someone who can usually put away only half that when it comes to hot tea).It had a natural sweet note, n went well paired with a raspberry centered biscuit. I think it will be good for the summer as a refreshing iced tea too!where I bought it: purchased at enjoyingtea.com along w/a tea sampler and teapot-drip-catchers that I really wanted just to keep the lid on without my having to hold it while pouring. Everything from the company was nicely packaged, and came in 4days and shipping less than $4. The sampler floral tea came in cute tiny tin-cans; now I can experiment by mixing my own!
