Good Quality
I typically buy one pair of gloves a year from the local garden centre. I wear them for weeding and hedge and lawn cutting. These gloves are fully leather with a reinforced palm and are reminiscent of those worn by cowboys. They're fairly thick but soon loosen up. They're not completely thorn-proof but do offer better protection than fabric or microfiber gloves . Sizing with their online guide is accurate. They were sold by Pittards, but were cheaper than buying directly from their own website so offer even better value.

Great gloves for gardening
These are really tough, but comfortable, and best of all, cheap, seeing as I get through gardening gloves (even the expensive ones) at a terrific rate

Check sizing
Prompt delivery, well made, however, despite being labelled as XL. One glove was smaller and I was unable to get my hand into it.

Nice! More rugged than cheaper gloves I'd been buying every 3 months. Comfortable too.

Good but on the small side
Quality good..sizing very bad..I usually buy large gloves. Ordered extra large and they are difficult to get on.

Wouldn't want them, even if they were given to me.
Having done a little research, I looked for some gloves like the ones I have used for ten years, perfectly. I came across these, and originally they were priced about £15.00, and described as thorn-proof. I wanted them for Fathers Day, from one of my sons. At my age, I like nice things, and not worried about the cost. These seemed reasonable. Got then, pah.......they are very disappointing. They are unlined, which I knew, and prefer. If the lining goes soon after you buy them, they are very uncomfortable. So i deliberately opted for un-lined, thinking they would have made them accordingly. They are in fact the most uncomfortable gloves EVER. When you bend your fingers, folds and creases and joins in the leather, fill your finger crease....ouch.I was suspicious from the start, I mean, who staples a hanging tag through leather? And also, they are medium, so of course there is a crude 'M' written in pen on the inside of the cuff. Serious QA problems I'm thinking at the factory. In a few words......'buy from somewhere else', as I have sent emails and telephoned, all ignored.I just tried posting this with '0' stars, but looks like I have to give them at least 1, outrageous!
