These clips are ideal for holing stuff you don't want to put pins in, like vinyl and faux leather in my case, whilst you sew them. They're also great for multiple layers layers (although you might need the jumbo ones as well for very thick sewing projects). Like the other Clover products I've bought, they are a bit more expensive than other brands, but for me the extra cost is justified by the fact that they are very well made and sturdy, and that they have little helpful details that really help - in this case, seam allowance markings up to 1cm so you can sew in a straight line without marking the fabric if you want to. I've used other, cheaper brands, but they have always broken. These look like they'll be useful for a long time.

These are great to use as an alternative to pins, but don't seem to be available in packets with a greater quantity in which is a pity. Brilliant to hold together materials you can't use pins on - like vinyl. I've used to hold quite thick fabrics together, when it was difficult to get pins to stay in place. I've also tried them after using fabric glue, where pins would have been inadvisable.The markings on the base helped me keep to the correct seam allowance, and I still used my sewing machine with the clips holding several layers of material together with no problem,

I love these clips, just think they are a bit expensive. However they are incredibly useful as they are quick and easy to use and do not distort the fabrics owing to their flat undersurface. Highly recommended.

I hate using pins, but these are great instead, hold fabric very well

These may seem very expensive compared to similar clips but they are very sturdy & well made. They are made of very strong polycarbonate & stainless steel clips. Cheaper ones are brittle plastic and poor quality metal They are also made in Japan not China which often is a good sign of quality. They are also very handy little things to use instead of pins.

I am a complete sewing novice - I don't even like the word 'sewing' and the thought of getting jabbed by pins just makes matters worse. These clips have been incredibly useful and made my beginners mask-making efforts a whole lot easier. Fabulous. Thank you, not least for sending so quickly. Have just ordered a second pack.

Brilliant but expensive hence only stars

I saw these when I was watching a You Tube tutorial and thought they looked handy. Wonder clips are wonderful and they couldn't have been more aptly named. I use them all the time. The grip is strong without marking fabric. Easy to handle. Brilliant product.
