ADCARLIGHTS Headlight Assembly for 2002 2003 2004 Toyota Camry Chrome Housing with Amber Reflector Left and Right (Only Fits LE/XLE, Not Fits SE)

First I want to mention that the OEM Toyota replacements cost $375US - EACH! So my expectations were very low for an assembly that cost $50 each.PRICE: 5 STARSFIT: The fit is pretty good. Fit at the bumper - perfect. Fit under the hood - perfect. Fit at the front quarter panel is off 1/8" (3mm) at the very corner. This could be easily sealed with quality AUTOMOTIVE black caulk if it bothers you. The OEM were not sealed to be water tight around the edges either, just a better aesthetic. Not as tight as the originals but the car was in a minor accident and perhaps not perfectly straightened to accept the new lenses. So benefit of the doubt - 5 STARS.QUALITY: Everything LOOKS exactly the same to me. Certainly the materials are inferior to the expensive OEM lenses but I could not tell visually or by touch. Bulbs fit in fine. Alignment screws worked. All four attachment points aligned perfectly even though the corners near the turn indicators bulbs did not fit as tightly as the OEM that I removed. - 5 STARSEASE OF INSTALLMENT: Aligned perfectly with attachment points. Slid right into place. - 5 STARS.EASE OF BULB ALIGNMENT/ADJUSMENT: Just like the OEM. - 5 STARSFYI: I replaced all of the light bulbs at time of installation. So presumably all bulbs are in perfect working order. Bulbs twisted right in just fine. - 5 STARSOK, now for probably the most important category: QUALITY OF LIGHT thrown by the headlights when in use after dark. Do they light the road properly?LIGHT QUALITY: First I performed a detailed headlight alignment following instructions in online videos. Then I took the car out for a couple of short drives after dark and fine tuned those original adjustments. So far I am not very impressed with the beam shape. The beam from the right low beam looks different from the left low beam as it hits the road up ahead. (Left alignment should be placed slightly lower than the right headlight as to not blind oncoming motorists. Right low beam should be a tad higher for seeing farther down the road for wildlife and pedestrians at the roadside) But somehow the beam looks more concentrated at the center than OEM light assembly.I can't be 100% certain about the LIGHT QUALITY as compared to my old fogged up lenses with a million micro scratches and cracks from 20 years of sun damage. I polished them when needed but the old lights were FAR from perfect. So perhaps this is just my perception based on looking at terrible light beams for many years.Close comparison of the reflectors of the old and new assemblies revealed the OEM lights have a "checkerboard" line pattern in the low beam reflector whereas the new reflectors only have vertical line pattern in the reflectors. I would imagine this makes a great difference in what the light beam looks like hitting the road ahead.This is my only 4 STAR aspect, but it is the most important obviously.COLOR: I use the highest quality bulbs money can buy. Light is bright white. - 5 STARSWill the product be SAFE and EFFECTIVE? This old car (2003) gets driven in the city under street lamps 90% of the time. So i really just need to BE SEEN. Until I take a ride on a dark country road I will not be able to rate the beam pattern on the road ahead. I feel it will be adequate. If not, I will update this post. If the light quality is not safe and effective then of course stars will fall drastically.

These headlights are very strong and built very well with a clear transition for the bulbs. They arrived in only 2 days and installed easily. The box was well packed and the headlights came to me undamaged.

Fit perfectly. Just as described. You will need your own bulbs.
