Used for the first time tonight, from box to cooking was just a few minutes, including reading about a paragraph on how to use it.We have a lovely bbq area outside, but not wanting to burn things or use gas, I bought this. It plugged in easily, but it has a short lead so we used an extension lead. I added the water, turned it to Max, went and washed my hands and got the burgers from the fridge (left adult Daughterto watch the grill). By the time I came back the elements were red and ready to cook. Put 4 burgers on, left them a while, turned them over and after a few more minutes they were done and we turned it off. Easiest bbq ever!! After we finished eating,I took the grill tray to the kitchen, then carefully tipped the water away and took the grill through and washed up. So simple.

Great product as is totally smokeless and the flavour is top. Very easy to clean, despite being big. My only disappointment with it is the fact that my previous one, only lasted 13 months. This is my second griller.

Warning! You need to follow the instructions and put water in or the legs will melt. The water is to take the heat away from the bottom of the pan and also keeps the food moist, also aids the cleanup process. I read in other comments that this was happening, but they used nothing or tin foil.Pros.A good product which is well worth the money, as I tend to cook things with spices and in the kitchen was too smokey. Now you can set this outside and it will cook whatever you want.They could have put metal feet on it, but that would add to the weight.Easy to clean, it pretty much all comes apart.BBQ's are what summer is all about, but the mess and smell from BBQ and hassle of waiting for it to heat up and wait until coals are ready become a chore. This can be used I would say for a family of 4.Cons.None yet, I did as instructions stated and set it on max for 10 mins whilst the grill burned off the protective coating it has for long storage.Again, do not use without putting the water in as requested! Don't be a tool!

Used it on new year's eve, as planning to have an indoor bbq party. After 15-20 minutes of cooking, all lights and electricity went off. The "RCD Controlled Circuit" panel on our fuse box tripped, which means the circuit breaker responded to a faulty appliance. At that moment this is the only appliance that is being used for the first time. All our other appliances are working well and so far hasn't caused us similar problem.It only means that this product was sold in the market without undergoing quality control. Therefore it is very unsafe to use and could potentially cause fire.

No garden or in a flat? This works great. You just add water to the base and start cooking. The taste is great but of course it doesnt have the authentic BBQ taste as there is no charcoal. But it is quick to get started, meat cook quick and it looks great on a table where people can cook their own food.

Its just not good or bad, difficult to cook a bit because of temperature regulation is bad, like you have 1 and 10 , nothing in between rither its burning or its cold

Well after receiving my unit it was soon put to the test following the instructions the unit was in full cooking mode with little or no smoke, until i forgot to top up the water and the result was fire alarm entertainment for a little bit, no worries lesson learnt KEEP WATER TOPPED UP then all fine and open all windows to allow any smoke to dissapear, there is still the smell of a BBQ which is the highlight and it goes down very well. It cooked an array of goodies to a T and the flavour was as a BBQ should be, cooking time a little longer than outside nevertheless the result was amazing. The unit was easy to clean and no heavy scourers needed only hot water and fairy.
