Worked great
My house was built in '73. When I removed the toilet I had the old cast iron flange. The second photo was taken after trying to get it out. The third photo was taken once the flange was off leaving me with a large gap when the foundation from years had sank down. I filled the gap in with concrete before putting the metal plate downp for added support. The forth photo is the new floor and new flange on. I drilled out where the concrete ancor screws from the plate would touch the new waterproof laminate floorn because it would raise it slightly.

If you have any question about what's going on under the toilet, get this.
This thing worked great. I had to replace a toilet in an old house we bought. I bought this product and a flange repair disk before I started, and I am glad I did. The existing closet flange is plastic and completely warped. I was able to slide the steel plates under the existing flange and put the repair flange on top then screw them all together. Rock solid.

Definitely a nice option to have in a bind
For those who have the pleasure of living in "modular" or "manufactured" homes, inevitably we come to find that the construction isn't up to par with a stick built. One of the times you figure this out is when water gets on your particle board flooring (and I use the term flooring lightly there.) Long story short, we didn't want to replace the entire floor at this time just because some of the screws stripped loose after the plastic flange broke and the toilet tilted and leaked. We will replace the whole floor with real plywood flooring later but wanted to do it on our schedule. We tried some of the other "repair" methods for a broken flange but the compromised particle board just wouldn't allow the screws to hold and it also raised too high. So we purchased this and a slip-on flange and by having more area to work with we now are solid and secure again until we are ready to re-do the floor. Honestly, this will probably hold us over longer, but I'm looking for an excuse to redo a lot in that bathroom anyway.

It actually worked better then I thought
Poor job in installing ceramic tile around the flange. Didn't level the tile out & one side is higher. Also the flange is to low & couldn't get a good connect. So it made the toilet wobbly & sewer gas smell in main bathroom. Thanks to this product. It is Now as solid as can be. Wobble gone 100%... O'ring Snugged & now no sewer smell.I highly recommend this product. & the installation was way way way to easy.....10⭐

Did the job
An improperly installed, and now broken flange, poorly cut subfloor 35 years ago combined with some water damage, made for a constant second-guessing job. In hindsight, I would have pulled the old flange and replaced the subfloor and flange. This product did the job when combined with https://www.amazon.com/Danco-88904-Toilet-Flange-Repair/dp/B00IA3QIGO/ref=sr_1_14?. The two products got the floor and flange solid enough to make for a decent, if not too time consuming toilet replacement.Finished off with Danco NEXT hybrid wax/wax-free toilet ring.

Saved the day
I installed an offset flange in the concrete floor which left me with a big gaping hole around the PVC. I was not going to be so brazen as to fill that in... Found this and gave it a try. I'm very pleased. It's solid and bridged the gap, toilet installed and doesn't move at all.

may need to trim to fit
Solved the problem where the cutout around the flange was too large. Make sure to dry test fit the toilet before using the wax ring. I noticed that the toilet base was much smaller than this metal bracket, which resulted in rocking. I ended up cutting an inch off the front and it worked perfectly.
