Will these adhere to the shaded frit dot area of a windshield and allow a 3m sticker on a Dashcam to attach to your electrostatic sticker?

Yes, just right for this purpose.

Will this cover a piece of flat metal on a slider door?

First of all, you have to make sure that the flatness and density of your metal is close to the glass, then you can test it, the effect is not good you can return it to us. Good luck! Thank you for choosing us at Amazon!

Are they ink jet printable?

I think the inkjet may not work very well, of course, if your printer will not jam him. This electrostatic stickers support marker writing, or sublimation printing you can also try! Hope this helps you! Thank you for shopping at Amazons!

Will this still work if I leave it off the windshield in a drawer for extended periods of time?

Yes, long-term storage does not affect its effectiveness.
