This is would be a great little project holder for your threads but once I’d finished wrapping all my threads onto the bobbins I found that the lid doesn’t actually close when the box is full. So a complete waste of money.

Perfect for holding my threads and fits into my craft bag easily. Just what I needed.

As an avid cross stitcher this makes a brilliant addition to my stash for a set of threads for a specific project. Brilliant delivery service, even arrived quicker than expected. Have ordered from this supplier before and will continue to use them.

Useful box for my cross stitch threads but doesn’t stay closed very well

The box is too small to fit floss bobbins in vertically , you have to put them in sideways. This means you can’t see the numbers, so it’s no good for a serious cross stitch project. The medium one, however, is perfect, and it’s not that much bigger. You can put your bobbins in the right way up and the lid will close. You can’t fit scissors, tweezers in and you would have to close your stitch unpick to fit that in. So as a sewing case it fails too. In conclusion, get the medium version for a project with up to 60 colours and the large for up to 160 bobbins. Hope you find this information helpful, Happy Stitching.

I needed a way to keep my embroidery flosses sorted and this fitted the bill. I like that its small and portable and even came with some cardboard bobbins to get me started.Perfect for an embroidery newbie who needs a small storage box that is handy for travel.

I have two larger boxes which fit the bobbins and click shut firmly. This little box, which I was looking forward to does neither. Fortunately the bobbins I am using are made of card and therefore bend a little, allowing the lid to close but then I have to put an elastic band round round the box to keep it closed.
