Good deal
Despite the good reviews, I was sceptical. I needed a mouse for my new laptop, but I really didn't want to spend 100 pounds for another Mad Catz MMO 7, my absolutely beloved mouse on my desktop. The Combaterwing looks similar to the Mad Catz, and after having tested it now for several weeks I have to say: it really is similar. It feels similar in the hand, very comfortable, especially for long hands with long fingers. It's quite a bit less precise (which doesn't concern me overmuch since I mostly do office work, no image editing or gaming, for which this would be a much bigger problem) and quite a lot lighter than the MMO 7 (which is a good idea for a laptop mouse). So, for a fifth of the price I get approx. two thirds of the performance of the MMO 7 - which I personally call a very good deal. After some bad experiences with mouse software wreaking havoc with parts of the operating system I did not install the special software (didn't do that for the Mad Catz either). I did not need a special driver - my Windows 10 64 bit laptop recognized the mouse straight away, as did my laptop with the same OS where I tried the Combaterwing out as well.

flimsy wheel
firstly i would like to say that this mouse is good because of the ability to change the dpi within the settings for the mouse. But i did not have it a week and the wheel on the mouse does not work it does not just spin it has dropped into the base of the mouse this is what i bought this mouse for in the first place as my other gaming mouse did the same thing but i did have that one for 2 yrs before it did it i have got to admit if i could have got my previous mouse on its own i would have.i will not be buying another one of these again

The looks are amazing, the response time is good
The looks are amazing , the response time is good, the option to customize the sensitivity in 4 different modes is very conviniant but DEFINITELY NOT durable, on my second day with this mouse i played league of legends which is a game that requires a lot of right clicking to move, after a while playing i was hearing these noises it thought it was something in the game but when i removed my headset which are noise canceling i realized it was the mouse right click squeaking. So from now i use my old crappy mouse to play league of legends and use this mouse for other games such as CSGO that dont need a lot of right click , not only the right click is squeaking but also the middle thing in the mouse(sry idk what its called) squeaks sometimes.

Talk about a Squeaking Mouse....
I checked the reviews and based my purchase on them alone.... Sadly I was wrong... The mouse is a "RAT" wannabe, but built as cheaply as possible with the quality and performance being evidently poor compared to an actual RAT....The mouse wheel squeaks... and is generally unresponsive.... Therefore not reliable for any kind of gaming.... so, not a Gaming Mouse....The buttons are again, awkwardly placed... I did hope that going by the picture that the alan key was usable to adjust the palm plate but it's a "fashion" thing... So no adjustments at all....On a plus note, it does look nice and will be boxed up and left - looking nice.... But it's like buying a cloned Ferrari with squeaking wheels and an engine that fails to start... and is all made from cheap plastic.... light look nice but doesn't do the job.My recommendation, invest in a better mouse... a branded one, even a second hand one... you will get better quality, performance and more life out of it.

I use this as a spare mouse and sometimes for 3D Design software programmes like SolidWorks. Overall the mouse is okay
Used this product a few times but lacks the feel of a proper gaming mouse, its very bulky and often the DPI settings are not optimal for gaming. A big issue I had was with the software, operating the LED function to different modes was quite baffling. I use this as a spare mouse and sometimes for 3D Design software programmes like SolidWorks. Overall the mouse is okay, If you want to game I recommend getting a logitech g402 or above.

Good enough. far from perfect
The software I got with the mouse will not stay any higher than 3000 dpi, instead, it will stay there temporarily and return to 3000 dpi after a couple of minutes. The soft-touch rubber is not very strong, I saw it start to come off on the RMB and over the furthest right edge after 3 months of use. For all intents and purposes, 'this mouse is good but not perfect

Only one little issue.
This is the first "gaming mouse" I have purchased and whilst I cannot compare to other items, I can comment on how everything works exactly as it should. The weight is just right and the build quality is pretty good for the price. Unfortunately it offers no adjustability which would have been great as my fingers sit on the edge of the left and right buttons. The mouse wheel can be a little stiff but I'm sure it'll loosen up with time. The only issue I've had is that there could be a little more resistance on the left and right click as I sometimes find just resting my fingers on there is enough to click.
