Very useful for quick analysis. RF Scanning on APs is better accuracy but much slower.

Poor noise with no signal. Insensitive
Brought this for use at work to survey the various Wifi AP heatmap. The ambient noise was 20db worse that the spec and sat at around -78-83db on either band even with no antenna plugged in.Very insensitive to even strong wifi signals and most didn't show up. My free app on my phone showed wifi channels with much better clarity,.Returned for refund. April 2019
