I wanted a large display that I could read across the room. I should have checked the details as this display is really large. Just fit the batteries and after a few seconds the day, date, time and temperature are accurately displayed. I wanted to use it on a windowsill. It only just fitted. It comes with wall-mounting features and is fine as a wall clock.There is a visibility drawback which makes wall mounting a good decision. Below eye level the built-in stand means that the top of the display is clearer from one side and the bottom of the display from the other. I have ended tilting the display back on the windowsill which means that the display is well lit and all parts of the display are clear.Fitting it fairly high on the wall makes it clearly visible from across the room and that is what I may do in the future.Don't be put off: this is a useful and accurate day/date/time/temperature display. The automatic setup and timekeeping via radio is much better that the analogue radio-clock equivalents. If you want a desk or windowsill clock, check out the smaller version.

I have had this clock for 6 years and I am finally leaving a review. It still works 100%, used continuously since I received it in 2018.It's the UK version and therefore gets the month in the correct place and it shows Celsius temperatures as used in the UK and not the old out of date Fahrenheit temperatures. There might be an option to switch between them but I can't say that I have bothered looking TBH because F is not required. Check for F support if you need it before purchase.The time radio signal works but the signal is a bit weak where I have the clock located. It does pickup the time but it can be a bit temperamental at times especially after a battery change. I located the clock in a different location until the time has set correctly. I have used rechargeable AA batteries with the clock since I first changed the batteries and they do fit okay unlike some devices where rechargeables don't fit well in the battery compartment. Even rechargeables last a very long time in this clock.The display is easily readable where I have the clock located which is just above eye level. I have it free standing and don't fit it to a wall which could influence the temperature/humidity readings. All digital thermometers read high in my experience, even my dual sensor meter reads around 0.5C high and this is very similar. Where accuracy matters only a mercury thermometer will do IMO. Digital sensors suck unless your paying hundreds for calibrated sensors.A small negative is that the surface of the clock has two or three imperfections in the plastic which can be seen fairly easily as dark dots in the white clock surface.TBH I didn't really need a clock of this size because it is so close to my face in the kitchen. It works very well and is not adversely affected by high humidity being right near the cooker where it frequently reaches 90-95% humidity when the cooker is boiling food.Overall this is a very good clock/temperature/humidity device and I have no regrets about my purchase. Highly recommended.

I was pleasantly surprised by this clock. It's casing is plastic but of a very nice quality with glossy white finish. The display is crisp with a good background contrast and a wider field of view than I imagined. Best of all it sorts itself out automatically for UK time and calendar without any necessity for programming / adjustment (although you can set it manually if you are so inclined).Many similar clocks have the date / month reversed or are governed by a continental radio time signal and require a certain amount of setting up. The setting up will, no doubt, need to be done every time you change the batteries. This Youshiko clock is a specific UK version working from the British radio time signal and no setting up is required. Just put the batteries in and it sorts itself out. It automatically compensates for months ending with different dates, leap years and British Summer Time via the radio signal.Just put in a pair of AA batteries (good quality alkaline). The cover on the battery compartment is finger operated, well designed and easy to use. The clock then listens for the radio time setting signal for a period of upto seven minutes, signified by the flashing radio telescope dish symbol. If it fails to set and the symbol disappears you may have to relocate it slightly. Don't put it too close to other electronic radio equipment such as portable telephones as they may affect the signal. You can manually set it off looking for the signal again by simply pressing a button on the back marked "wave". Under normal circumstances the clock listens for the radio signal in the early hours of the morning in order to synchronise the time and calendar.The only very, very minor point I could perhaps criticise is that the day digits are a little cramped in horizontally - when they say MON (probably the widest set of characters) it is slightly difficult to see from a distance!I can't vouch for the accuracy of the temperature or humidity readouts as I have other smaller digital clocks with these features and they all read something different even when located side-by-side! These may be a slight problem when the unit is wall mounted as the air circulation vent holes seem to be up against the wall.There are actually three keyhole slots in the back for hanging the clock on but it balances perfectly well on the middle one.All-in-all a great item!

Great clock I bought for my mother in the Kitchen as she likes digital clocks. Stylish and clear to read. Great product and still working well.

Je l'utilise pour afficher leur dans mon salon. Mais le radio pilotage ne semble pas fonctionner. L'horloge change d'heure toute seule et reviens une heure en arrière. Je suis obligé de la remettre ailleurs manuellement à chaque fois. Je suis déçu.e. J'en ai assez de remettre à la bonne heure tous les 2 jours donc je retourne le produit et je ne prendrai plus de pendule radio pilotée.

Cercavo un orologio radiocontrollato con display LCD grande l'ho trovato. Elegante e ben visibile dal costo contenuto.Arrivato prima del tempo di spedizione indicato, imballo adeguato.Consigliato

Auf keinem Fall diese Uhr mit UK version kaufen, denn sie läßt sich nicht auf MEZ umstellen.

Il prodotto si presenta bene ed è elegante.L'unica cosa che non funziona perfettamente è il rilievo della temperatura che ha un margine di errore di 1 e talvolta anche 2 gradi in più.

Esteticamente come da descrizione,ma ogni giorno di notte rimane indietro di un'ora,quando dalla descrizione riportava che si regolava automaticamente.
