Everything was fine and as expected with the product.Easy to use.Emits a soft heating and warms up a large diner and living room easily.The only negative is that the radiator was bent due to the awful Hermes handling and of course I returned it and ordered a replacement.Amazon's CS agents were unimaginably helpful, debited my gift card balance for my re-order

I've had a few of these Dimplex heaters over the decades and always stick with them, they're effective, reliable, heat a room quickly, are light and manouverable. Very quiet unless you activate the fan, which isn't usually necessary unless the room is an icebox and you need to warm it at top speed.

These are a good quality heater made by a reputable company. This is the basic version - there is also one with a booster and one with a timer.The prices vary enormously and sometimes the most expensive one(timer) is cheaper than the basic one (this one) but the following day all that may change. It throws out lots of heat and comes with a plug although mine are hard wired. My only gripe would be the quality of the wall fittings, which are a fairly soft metal that causes the heater to fall off the wall if treated roughly. Obviously one solution is not to treat them roughly. In my case I had a friend make up some thicker brackets and this has solved the problem.

I bought this for my daughter to use in a cold conservatory --worked very well --however she has just informed me that the blower does now not work --what can be done about this --who do I contact about it

Generally speaking this is a great convector heater, and works well in our 6mtr x 3.5mtr conservatory ... BUT... there are a few things that could be re designed.(1) the heating options are either off, 2kw or 3kw. There is no provision for 1kw output, which is a pity. There is a thermostat so in either 2 or 3 kw output mode the heaating can be controlled.(2) When switching the 2kw or 3kw switches there are blue sparking flashes from the internal parts of the switches, which is rather alarming. But perhaps this will reduce in time.(3) The wall fixing brackets are made of cheap galvanised tin, ( you can bend them by hand) and because the clips all face upwards my 15 month old grandson managed to pull the heater off the wall. Fortunatley the heater wasn't switched on so he wasnt hurt, I have now made a new bottom bracket that makes it impossible to lift the heater off the wall.M

Very powerful heater. I was looking for a heater that could heat a relatively large area fast. This one does exactly that. I like that you can use half the voltage if there isn't the need for so much power/heat so you can save in energy. The only thing I find annoying is that the little light on the side is lit all the time so it does not serve as an indicator of whether the heater it's on or off.

Easy to use, fast heating. I use this in the conservatory in winter, 10 minutes on and the room is cosy.There is no fan in this heater and it does not radiate out, heat just rises straight up above the device. You can stand in front of it and not feel heat, useful for sitting near furniture but probably not optimal for heating an area rather than room. No fan means this model is almost silent, there is a quiet hum from it. You might want to consider a fan or radiator style if you have high ceilings.The build quality is very cheap and the leg fittings easily break. The model is very light so we move it from conservatory to living room quite often and I reckon the legs will snap off soon.There are no timers on it.

Grand little heater which heats up very quickly and warmed up my living room within a matter of minutes. It throws out a lot of heat. I bought this as my living room gas central heating radiators aren't working, so I was delighted that Amazon delivered the day after ordering. I am warm again! I am not sure of the running costs of this heater, whether you would want to be using it every day, but for me as amergency or temporary use it is going to be ideal.
