Letter mad Son loves this
I bought this product for my 2 year old son who loves numbers and letters to put away until he is learning to read. We ended up opening it when it arrived and he absolutely loves it. There are plenty of different games to play and its great to do together to play educational games. The cards have pictures on to help and come in a handy box. We now take these cards and his Tag out with us as its small enough to pop in a bag.Great product. Would recommend to anyone who's child enjoys reading and spelling or any parents who want a fun educational game to play with their children.

My child loves it. Good resources for learning
In a nutshell: My child loves it. Fantastic value @ £6.50I got this from Amazon for £6.50, and I am very hapy with this product overall.Pros:- It is a great learning tool if you know how to use it- It does help children to build their simple words, and read themCons:- It requires tidy up after playing and learning- No instructions, no demos for effective learning- You need to spend the time with the child, it is not fun and not effective to learn and play by themselves- It does not allow blending of the sound of each letter, but it does say the words with the right combinations.

Good Quality cards that should last the year they are useful
I expected more after reading reviews of hundreds of words. There are less than 100 words. Not all letters are present and endings you'd expect are missing such as ox to make fox and box. Other than that it's an ok set but it tries to be too much with too little effort. pictures on certain letters for 1 or 2 words that can be made instead of all the words that can be made.

Hundreds of words to introduce spelling - and fun!
These have worked really well to introduce spelling and simple letter grouping to my 3 year old.The combinations of single and double letter cards actually give you hundreds of options and when she felt confident enough the leapfrog pen means that she can use them on her own and the pen guides her, gives hints and lets her know if she is right. It's good that I can leave her with an educational game that she thinks is fun while I get on with other things, like washing and cooking.

Not great if you live in the UK
I had high hopes for this product but unfortunately it is geared for families residing outside the UK. The items associated with the letters do not match what UK children are taught. For example the item associated with the letter 'W' was 'wig'... Why not a worm or other? My 3 yr old was very confused and in the end I gave up on the product because he was correcting the cards. Thankfully it has found a great home with some American friends!

Very useful
My 8yr old used this when she was much younger and I found them very useful. I was ecstatic when I saw I had to get them for new girl as I gave away the other set.

Good little sound blending set but pictures don't match
This is a nice little set that my daughter really enjoys sitting up to make her words. It definitely help with starting sound blending. But my only issue is the pictures don't always match the ultimate word. For example d has a picture of a dog on it but we might be blending it with an ending other than og and then my little one gets confused. Not a major issue as I think the idea is to teach them that dog starts with d but it has caused a bit of confusion here!

500¥ used.
It was used but like new condition. Great value for 500¥.There’s a list of potential 3 letter words but to make better use, I included longer words and also names.

Great product for learning
My daughter loves this and it works wonderfully. Easy to use and great sounds on every card. My daughter just turned 4 and we gave this as a birthday gift. It does a great job occupying her time and teaching as well. My suggestion to parents, like almost all learning toys, it is not something you set them down with to do on their own. Interaction with parents help them learn, and can make it more fun. So if you are looking for something to set give them to keep them out of your hair, buy them playdough. :)
