The media could not be loaded. We have the typical three prong outlet covers and those work fine but we wanted something for our more adventurous toddler as she gets into everything easily. We got these and more amazed at how difficult they are to get out of the wall. If you explore on our video, you’ll see how challenging it is. It’s virtually impossible to do with one hand, and until you know how to get it out (by pushing down on the top, bottom and sides all at once), not even an adult could figure it out, let alone a toddler. We feel extra safe with these and appreciate how durable they are, as well as the peace of mind they give us.

Ok so lets be real here... You are not going to buy these because they are easy to remove... The last thing that you are going to do is buy an outlet plug that your toddler is able to remove.With that being said these are fairly easy for a functioning adult to remove. I would assume that any smart and logical child would be able to remove them as well and hopefully at that point the logic would also tell them not to stick anything but a plug in the socket. One could only hope.Getting the hang of removing them can be a little tricky, but not near as bad as some of these reviews claim to make them out to be. You just need to push in the left side of the plug to then be able to push the pin down on the top. While holding the pin down you can wiggle the plug loose from the outlet. Like I said it can be a little tricky at first, but do it a couple of times and it gets easier.At the end of the day I purchased these to keep curious hands from getting fingers, toes, or toys into the outlet and they do an amazing job at that. We have them on every outlet in the house now.

I am a mother of 2. I used these plug covers with my first child as they were able to pull the covers out of the electrical wall outlets with 3 other brands' plug covers. Fast forward years later and its deja Vu`. My baby was prying every outlet cover out of the wall with their finger nail. Yes. I said fingernail. I switched brands twice then I remembered I used Safety First's Deluxe Squeeze. So, I set out to find them.Unfortunately for me, I was not able to locate this specific outlet plug cover anywhere in town. It was hard finding them online as well until I searched Amazon. To my surprise and satisfaction they had them. I ordered 2 packs. While they protect babies and toddlers, they may even be hard for some adults to remove. LOL. Yet, with a child like mine I needed this specific outlet plug cover. I am SOOOO Happy I found them! Thank you Amazon from one relieved parent/customer.

I was a little apprehensive about buying these because of the reviews saying how hard it was to get these outlet plugs out of the outlet, but the more "typical" outlet plugs made me nervous because of their choking hazard. Boy, am I glad I got these. Within minutes of me plugging these in, my 10.5 month old daughter was figuring out how to get it out of the outlet. If it didn't lock in the way it does, she easily would have pulled out the traditional plugs and put it right in her mouth (along with everything else nowadays). No joke - her fingers were between the plug and outlet pulling.I won't lie - it's a pain to get out of the outlet; however, it's worth the peace of mind that my daughter can't pull these out of the outlet.

PERFECT for kids who are curious and would pull regular plug covers out. My son pulls regular covers out in a hot second, so those are worthless to us. It took us awhile to find a different design and these worked perfectly!Some people wrote poor reviews of this product saying they were too hard to get out if an adult wanted to use the plug, but I disagree with that. They are a bit hard to get out yourself, but that's the point -- to make sure the kids can't get into the plugs. I would much rather have issues getting the plug out myself and be slightly inconvenienced and be certain my son would be safe than to have an easier time getting them out on my own and wonder if my son could figure them out too.I highly recommend this product for parents who have curious children or children who are always messing with things they aren't supposed to. These covers brought me so much peace of mind just knowing that my son couldn't get them out and hurt himself. Now that my son is older, we don't need these anymore. However, if we have another child, I will for sure be making this purchase again. These are the plug covers to buy if you're gifting safety stuff at a baby shower or if you are a grandparent wanting to baby proof your own home for the grandbabies.

Ok everyone. I’m not one to care to write reviews, not even on the products I’ve really really liked. BUT- this is regarding how safe this product keeps my home now that I have an 18 month old running around, trying to plug cords into any outlet he can see. First, for those of you who say these are too hard to remove- ISNT THAT THE POINT? Second, they are easy to remove (for an ADULT)- you hold the left button and top botton in/down at the same time and it’s out. These are safe. They keep our babies safe. It is a no brainer if you want something that’ll protect your little ones but also won’t be ridiculously expensive. I did not get these for free so I could leave a good review. I paid real money and I am leaving an real, honest review. I purchased the 32ct pack (it came as 4 8ct packs) and as soon as they arrived I put these into every outlet we do not use in our home. You should hear a click when it has inserted correctly, meaning the bottom “harpoon” looking plug has locked into the outlet. It is worth the money.

1-star for “easy to remove” because these things are next to impossible to get out of the wall, WHICH IS THE POINT!!!! They work great!!! This is our third brand of outlet covers with our 2.5 year old boy who manages to wrangle all outlet covers off. We snapped these babies in the outlets and he was pissed!!! They are nearly impossible to get off for adults which is of course a pain, but they work for kids and that’s what matters!!!
