I'm worried about the electrical safety of these as the solder joint between the light string and USB cable (which is covered by heat-shrink tubing and sealed with hot glue) gets extremely hot (too hot to touch, melting the hot glue) after maybe 30 seconds. This could only be due to a short circuit, which will be damaging to your USB power supply and poses a fire risk, but the lights appear to function completely normally.They come wrapped in a circle and it takes some time to properly untangle. Due to the stiffness of the wire, any kinks that appear whilst you untangle the lights are really difficult to get rid of, and pretty much permanent.The opposite end of the string of lights is just left as though it's been cut there - I'd expect it to be sealed/capped off for safety, but it isn't.Aside from all that, they do look really pretty. Just a shame about the burning smell from the melting hot glue...

Really bright compared to another set of led usb lights I bought. They are tiny, in-line leds in thin wire that can be difficult to untangle. However the price, quantity and brightness more than made up for it! I didn’t realise that there were actually two strings of light here - which makes it even greater value for money. It made my van and event shelter look not only pretty but also much brighter for festivals... (Not the usual dim fairy lights!)Aug 2019 edit : still running strong, I keep trying to find extra sets of these, but they no longer seem to sell the warm white. I’ve purchased similar products from other manufacturers but they have *terrible* colour rendition and brightness compared to these - I’ve bought 6 sets and cannot use any of them because they are so bad & as a photographer I’m very sensitive to light quality. The difference is astonishing and I’m so frustrated the ones I previously purchased are no longer available. If you are after cool white though, I’m guessing these will be perfect for you!

used with a smart plug and an iphone adapter to allow control on a timer. Low energy usage, woudl run off a power bank for hours.Great little lights, nice and bright, but the wires so thin (but strong) that it blends in and becomes invisible.The wire is strong not too delicate and means you can wrap the wires around items to make the light hold strong.Great item, very simple, no money wasted on gimmicks and remotes.

I love these lights!!!!They are bright and a nice warm natural light colour try to avoid getting them tangled as you unwrap the wire as they can tangle and not easily (which is a huge pain to undo and takes a while to do so!!)

These were a lovely warm colour on flexible silver wire with very convenient USB plug in. I used the two wires to decorate half of my 7ft Christmas tree. Really lovely effect, better than the Pre-lit LED bulbs I had on my tree.

I got 4 of these in my caravan and they look great and easy to use, so much better than faffing with batteries.

Great with a USB rather than batteries. Can be plugged in the socket or if no socket can use a power pack.

Didn't come with the anti static bags it said on listing and it's not very clear in description that you have to have them plugged into a USB connection to work so having them outside isn't so easy. I've had to buy 2 power packs to work.
