Music from the Coffee Lands

I enjoy this collection of international music quite well. The selections provide a variety of styles, and I find most of the works very enjoyable.

This CD came and a host of other CD's via the Putumayo collectioncame in a timely manner and this one inparticular is simply lovely to listen to.I do not have a favorite due to all of the songs are great.For me to not understanding he language makes it even more interesting to listen to.The beats, rhythms, collaborations are simply EXCELLENT!!!You will not be disappointed in your purchase.

This was the first Putumayo album I got. I list it in a move, and I went out and bought it again. I cann't really understand much of what they're singing, but the rhythms have been ringing in my head for years.

This is a smooth easy-listening collection of tunes from various countries where coffee is grown (and drunk). I like the fact that there is a good mix of male and female singers on this album, it's not heavy one way or the other. There are a variety of styles represented on the album, so whatever it is you like, there should be some of it here. I find this album to be good for background music, when I'm reading or even writing. It's a quiet, unobtrusive album that you can listen to while chilling out. The lyrics are in a number of languages, none of which I speak, so they just flow past without troubling me. This is music for doing housework, or while working hunched over a computer all day at work, or while cleaning out the garage, and so forth. It would be good for playing at a party or get-together with friends, when everyone wants to relax. There are 12 songs on the album, so there is plenty of music, and it's a good value for what you pay for it. Plus, you can get it for a couple of bucks on the used music market, which is what I did. Long live Amazon's used books and music, it's always good to check and see if you can pick it up used...

I bought this CD as a birthday gift for my best friend, and she loves it. The songs are unusual, original and delightful.

This is another excellent collection put out by Putamayo....and one I have repurchased several times because I wear out the CD! Great music collection.

Wonderful change of pace!!

Cover book doesn't match CD 100%. Ther are 12 songs on CD, however book(cover) has a listing of 13 songs. And they are not in proper order. Some of them are, but not all. Disapointed

Love this music reminds us of latin american holidays. Very relaxing but upbeat not dance club music but the type of music you hear from a live band in a hotel but not cheesy tourist rubbish, well put together and sound is great.

CD in einwandfreier Qualität

I love this CD. To be frank, I haven't listened to a single Putumayo CD that I didn't like. I love this series.

I ordered this CD after enjoying other more Latin influence CD,s from Putomayo and was not disappointed. It is very uplifting and relaxing and takes me to a sunny place each time I listen to it. I recommend this if you appreciate discovering new styles and enjoy a Latin influence.

Leider gibt es diese wunderschöne CD nur noch gebraucht. Man kann sie hundertmal hören und wird die Musik nicht leid. So, wie der Kaffee, den man immer wieder gerne geniesst. Die Musik stammt aus den verschiedenen Anbaugebieten des Kaffees und ist somit immer wieder anders und inspirierend.
