Like a proggier version of ‘Family’.
Very much keyboard based and with the vocalist often singing in a style very similar to that of ‘Roger Chapman’ it is very reminiscent of ‘Family’. All the songs except the last one are on the long side, varying from 6.19 to 9.46 mins, giving the band time to develop the proginess of the tracks. The album ends with a short instrumental track that sounds very much Cajun based.Overall not a bad effort, though I prefer their rockier ‘Live’ from 1974.Track time: just under 42 ½ mins, which was a very reasonable amount of playing time for the original vinyl.
