Natural Plant-Based Cat Litter 10 l

I recently adopted 2 cats. I tried different brands while trying to work out which one has the dodgy stomachs. Cats Best is the one that stands out - urine and poo clump easily, no fuss in removing them and the enclosed tray don’t leave nasty smell

Used this for years. Expensive but little waste. It clumps around wee & poo & I put it down the toilet.

With two new rescue kittens, and two litter trays, I was horrified by the amount of standard cat litter I was sticking in the bin - I was pretty much filling our slim grey general waste bin with used cat litter! Research then led me to 'flushable' litter, and as this is considerably cheaper than the main alternative, I chose this one. I have to say that I'm really pleased with it, and my wheely bin is no longer a soiled cat litter bin. Other reviewers are absolutely correct in that you can't flush too much at once - I've had to use the plunger a few times after putting too much in the loo - but as long as you're careful it's fine.I really like the way that the litter forms balls like sticky porridge - they are really easy to scoop out and flush. A large holed litter scoop is useful for shaking off clean litter and removing lumps. I actually find this litter fairly cost effective, as you only need to remove soiled litter. I fill our large litter trays with a full bag (nice and deep), and only then do a complete change and clean of the trays every few weeks. At this stage any remaining litter goes on the compost heap, or in the green waste bins (after any soiled bits have been removed of course).My only complaint is that this stuff really does track around the house. I have a large anti-track mat in front of one of the trays, but still end up with a trail of litter across the floor and around the house. It particularly seems to stick to my black long haired kitten's tail, and ends up everywhere. I have actually changed one of the litter trays to a top entry one in an attempt to reduce the tracking issue, as I really don't want to go back to conventional litter, and it has definitely helped.So in conclusion - great cat litter, fairly cost effective, much more environmentally friendly than other litters, but tracks like crazy. If you're starting from scratch, get a top entry litter tray as it will really help with the tracking issue.

Absolutely love this product. I've been using Catsan non clumping since I got my boy 3 years ago and it always stinks by the 4th day even though I scoop the poo every time he does one. It's also a smelly mess to clean and soaks the bottom of the tray, this stuff is BRILLIANT. It never seems to end no matter how big the pee clumps are that I scoop daily and it doesn't smell at all. I'll never buy anything else again. The price is fully worth it.

It may be expensive but it’s still cheaper than buying the cheap stuff as you are only taking out the small amount the cat has soiled, really easy to clean you, less mess

We've always used Cats Best but recently started using a different type litter for our older cat, what a disaster! She refused to use the litter tray completely and as you can imagine, caused all sorts of problems. This seller was quick to deliver this product, the litter clumps very well, is easy to remove from the tray, smells fresh and less mess when our cat is burying her toilet. Very happy cat indeed.
