HSS works on a Nikon D3 with SB 800 and XIR-n
I am using the Godox xpro-N on a Nikon D3 in conjunction with an SB 800 mounted on a Godox X1R-N. I specifically wanted to realise High speed sync (HSS) potential of the flash while not tethered to the camera.First impression of the XPRO-N is that it is reasonably made but I did encounter difficulties on first removal of the battery cover. The on off switch is very small and I would prefer a more positive locking click when it is switched on, a small rub of the switch will power it off without the switch being moved fully to the off position. The HSS only fully activates and displays on the SB 800 after setting HSS on the XPRO, turning the shutter speed above normal sync and firing the flash once using the camera. It does not set by operating the test fire button or just by changing settings on the camera. This first shot produces a black image but from then on HSS works well up to 1/8000 second. So, with a small workaround but it works fine.I am happy with it so far time will tell if its robust enough. The XIR-N seems more solid and works well.I may miss not having another hot shoe available on the XPRO however there is a sync port.

Its Brilliant & Saves Shooting Time!
I bought it as I have several Wireless speedlites already but only simple wireless trigger, This meant a lot of walking to and fro to adjust the 3 of them when shooting portraits. Now I can simple adjust the power of each individually from the camera. This saves so much time when running a session. It works with the Neewer Speedlites to, I had an old 850II which it controls just the same. Takes a little working out to set up the first time but then like all these things, its why it comes with that instruction manual we all usually ignore! Not sure how I managed without it before!JulesLamo The Lion Photography Ltd.

Intuitive flash transmitter
I got the Godox XPro-N transmitter as a replacement for the Godox XT1-N transmitter, which is now a back up. The XPro is so easy to operate and much quicker for setting the flash settings than with the XT1-N. It is a well made quality product that I use with two Godox V1n and one TT600 flashguns.

Highly recommended!
Got the Godox XPro-N transmitter to replace an X1T and it is so much better . Its much quicker to set up a series of flashes, TTL works well with a mixture of Godox and Nikon flashes (using the X1R for the Nikon's). The feature allowing you to capture all the manual settings from a previous TTL shot and then adjust them is very useful. Don't hesitate if you're thinking of getting one, the XPro is well worth the premium over the X1T.

wont support manual exposure from the transmitter
The xpro n is a nice looking transmitter and the price is great! One massive drawback though.. shooting the z7 and sb900s and sb910s it wont allow manual exposure control from the transmitter! You only have two choices really.. shoot ttl (increasing heat and waisting power with pre flash) or set the flash to manual mode and then walk back and forth to your SB to set the power manually. This product will be returned. Why stuff like this cant be built in and universal is a true pain in the but!

Works just great
Likes once it's set up it's great to use however the instruction manual leaves a lot to be desired best to set up via u-tube.

Great remote. The best on the market.
The best wireless trigger system out there. I used to use Elinchrom lights and Air remotes, but have gone full-Godox and this remote works flawlessly. Worth reading the manual as well, there’s more to then than you realise.
