Love units but . . .
one shelf was damaged. Easy to put together but plastic end caps are fragile and break easily. Also if shipped via USPS I have to actually drive the USPS Annex the day AFTER they arrive their to pick it up.

A little flimsy and the wheels failed in 30 minutes.
Keep looking!!! This system is NOT sturdy. Can you make it work, yes, but the design is flawed. I purchased this specific one for the low cost and for its mobility. I placed modestly weighted items on the rack after assembling it, and the wheels, which are TINY, nearly caused the bottom half of the rack to separate from the top half. I made it work by removing the wheels and placing the unit in the corner of the garage. I likely will replace it with a more robust/stringer rack but I needed to get a few items off the garage floor.

A great case storage solution for guitar hoarders like me.
If one of your first-world problems is way too many guitars, you probably also have way too many guitar cases, and when you leave guitars in cases en masse, you may find that you don't play them very often because they're simply hard to get at. The solution: hang all of your guitars up on the wall, and get those cases out of the way and into some kind of compact storage solution.I purchased the 18 x 47.24 x 78 arrangement and it fits most guitar cases perfectly. You WILL run into some hassles with non-rectangular cases and acoustic guitar cases may well be too large in depending on the design. The typical rectangular electric guitar case works great, and I did find I could fit some irregularly shaped cases for things like Les Pauls put putting them on top of the pile. I can get about 3 typical case per shelf. Now you may be thinking "I don't have first world problems like too many guitars, are these shelves any good for other things?" Good question, and the answer is an annoying "it depends."MOST (all?) of the steel shelving in this price rage is not heavy duty industrial storage, and I would not rely on these shelves for serious garage or warehouse duty. For that, you'll want to lay out the cash and buy from Uline or somewhere like that. These shelves are great at delivering a lot of storage volume and surface for a pretty attractive price point. The steel is thin gauge stamped material held together using steel rivets that slot into oblong holes. The construction is very flexible and not extremely sturdy, and you'll want to take the weight ratings for this product with a grain of salt. Sure, they can hold a lot of weight. No, you're not going to feel confident stacking racks of tires on them. The shelves themselves are also made from stamped steel--which is nicer than the particle board you see in other units that often has the structural integrity and consistency of a graham cracker--but not terribly thick. It's best to think of these as industrial-looking shelves for household storage--bins full of bath towels or clothes, picnic coolers, bulk paper towel storage, craft supplies, etc. Not tires, air compressors, benchtop woodworking tools, etc. Those things are going to make these shelves rack and wobble in a scary fashion. As others note, these are very easy and fast to assemble. Getting started can be fussy if you're working alone, but is totally doable (I assembled these without help). One upside to the light duty construction is that they are not heavy and straightforward to move around once assembled. DO bolt these to the wall with the provided hardware regardless of how heavy the contents you are putting there end up being. These are not stable enough--in my opinion--to be free standing in the center of a room.In a nutshell: these offer great capacity, are lightweight and easy to assemble and move into position, reasonably attractive in a garage or pantry, inexpensive, but not heavy duty in construction or appropriate to professional / warehouse / storage.

Excuse the mess :)
I should’ve taken a photo before we loaded it down with all of our stuff, but here we are! This storage shelf is very sturdy and well made. My husband and I were both impressed with it! Excellent quality and as you can see, it holds a LOT! :)

Would not consider heavy duty
The shelf came in a damaged box. My delivery guy offered to return it for me, but I took my chances. The item that I received was clearly a used item and returned. Some of the plastic connecting pieces were already in the arms of the shelf and all the plastic pieces were scattered all through out the box. Some of the connectors were jammed inside the arms of the shelf so I had to take them out with a screwdriver and rubber mallet. I also did not receive all of the pieces for the shelving unit that it said it was supposed to come with. Luckily, I have my own tools. The items looked horrible. The shelves have scratches and dents, but since it was going in my shed, I didn’t really care about the appearance. I had to also hammer some of the shelves because parts of the shelves were bent so they wouldn’t it. it does suck that I received a used and damaged item. I would not recommend putting anything super heavy on this. I’m using it for some of my kids toys and a few garden items so I wasn’t buying this for anything too heavy. All in all it’s a shelf it is getting the job done but it’s not best quality. It fit perfectly where i bought it for so I’m happy with that.I’m posting photos of how my box arrived as well as what some of the damaged items looked like. Also a photo of what it looks like assembled and with the items i placed on it.

Strong and Sturdy
Suited my needs perfectly. These are very sturdy and easy to assemble. The metal shelves have a support "bar" in the center running from side to side (full width of the shelf) for extra support. I'm using them as two separate units rather than stacking them as one unit. The only issue I had was that I was shorted some of the plastic feet and top inserts (caps) that fit into the vertical supports to finish off the sharp metal edges (see attached pic). I contacted the seller about the issue and they were extremely accommodating. They ordered replacements right away. The were very pleasant to deal with and promptly responded to every message I sent to them. The replacement parts took quite a while to arrive but that was not the fault of the seller.
