My partner is a total coffee snob so a French press is our default “basic” daily coffee. Unfortunately they are disabled and prone to fainting and a few months ago they fainted while holding our old glass French press and hurt them self pretty badly with hot water and shards of glass. So I knew I wanted a press with no glass at all in case that happens again.This press is great. The color is fun and cute, so it looks good sitting on our counter, the thick metal keeps the coffee warm for a long time (great for me because I drink it slow), and although we haven’t dropped it yet, it seems like it would hold up well to some rough and tumble treatment. The filter works well, I haven’t had any trouble with grounds except for when I fill it too full. I also find it easier to wash since it’s one smooth piece of metal instead of a glass piece in a metal cage.I would absolutely recommend this French press, it’s well worth the money!

This is the perfect French press for my 90 yo beach cottage. Easy to clean. Makes great coffee. Coffee stays warm for a couple hours, unlike glass carafes. And it’s UNBREAKABLE!!!

Very sturdy and high-quality, produces various types of hot beverages with excellent results. Definitely a worthy upgrade from our old glass French press. The only drawback is how easily the paint comes off! Love the pink but would have preferred plain stainless steel to avoid this problem. Otherwise, would easily have been a 5 star product

This is my favorite French press I’ve had thus far! Pretty enough to keep on my kitchen counter and makes a great hot cup of coffee. Win-win! I have seen other reviews about the paint chipping but I think that can be avoided by hand washing. I’ve always hand washed my French presses so it was not a bother.

TO MAKE COFFEE..we love our new French press coffee pot. It’s beautiful, easy to clean and makes great coffee. It’s actually much easier to figure out than I anticipated. It’s VERY sturdy and will last a very long time. It’s even dishwasher safe.😄

I love the look of this. I've never owned a french press before, and, with a toddler in the house, didn't want the glass. The mesh is already loose, though, so I had to buy replacements for $5. Totally worth it for such a cute piece of art . . . I mean, french press.
