I bought this particular carrier because the dimensions given in the description fit within the size constraints for on-board pet carriers of the airline I will be traveling on soon. While I realize that soft-sided carriers can be squished down somewhat, the dimensions of the item I received, without my pet in it, is 2" longer and 2" wider than advertised. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 for this inaccuracy. Otherwise, it looks sturdy enough and will serve it's purpose. I just hope the gate agents don't pull out the tape measure! FYI, there is no padded or removable bottom.

This carrier is perfect for taking my cockatiel to the vet or boarding accommodations (boarding school, as we call it : ) We travel an hour each way by car, and the bird was fine with being in this carrier. The bottom stays flat and stable on the seat or passenger’s lap. There is enough visibility to allow the bird to see its human flock, so that cuts down on travel stress. I was concerned when considering ordering this product that my bird might catch a nail in the mesh side fabric, but this was not an issue at all. The sides are pretty sturdy. We lined the carrier with newspaper, covered with a layer of paper towels. No mess. A tasty sprig of millet in with the bird helps to decrease anxiety. Highly recommend this product as an economical travel carrier.

We recently had to evacuate from our home with our 5 cats and 2 dogs. It was absolute chaos trying to build the plastic pet crates, catch the cats, and shove them in while a fire was raging in our neighbor's yard not 20 feet from our home. If you need to have a quick grab carrier that can secure your pet, and get all of you out of the house in a timely manner, I highly recommend these. They fold flat and open up with minimal effort. We have cats ranging in size from 7 to 14 lbs, and I won't have any issue putting them in this carrier; the carriers are more than sufficient to hold large cats and transport them safely. Because the carriers are soft, the cat can easily turn around in it as well, as they sides can move with their movement.

I bought this carrier for a friend to use for a flight with a small adult cat. The carrier was secure and large enough for the cat. The appearance is lovely, but it was supposed to come with an ID tag and it wasn't there, so I had to make a tag. The stiff pad for the bottom of the carrier was a bit too small in width, and the carrier collapsed inward too easily. It was more economical than many airline approved carriers, but in terms of overall "travel-ability", I guess you get what you pay for.

Size, sturdyness good for my kitten and looks like it will accommodate her well as she grows full size. She likes the visibility. We tried anther more enclosed bag we found at marshalls. It seemed a bit more sturdy but she was going nuts trying to get out. This one she just sits and meows.

Just as discribed. Very nice. As with any carrier our cats hate them but they are sturdy and serve the purpose

Cute bag but arrived without a carry strap so it's more like a gym bag. Can I get a strap or do I need to buy one? Also no tag as stated in the description.

It does the job. Not the best materials and it isn’t super sturdy but you get what you pay for. I would recommend this to people who don’t travel with their pets very often and just need something temporary.
