I bought this product to tie some flies for trout fishing. When I was tying some very small (size 18) flies I noticed that the hooks seemed to bend quite easily when I was working with them. While this caused some concern the hooks are very small so I was unsure whether they would be OK in use. I then tied some flies on larger (size 10) hooks which looked to be strong to allow me to asses them in use.When I used the flies they proved to be absolutely useless, the metal is too soft and the hooks straighten under pressure from fish weighing only 2/3 pounds. I spent a number of hours tying flies and the whole lot will have to go into he bin. Do not buy this product.

Perfect, exactly what I was looking for.Nice little boxes as well. They're in my small fishing 'grab-bag' along with a few floats, a reel and some shot...ideal.
