No Razer burn but a little hard to use. Good for bikini area, terrible on armpits.
Came in a nice package, and the hankie was an added bonus. The razers it came with seem decent. The actual razor is sturdy and well made. The butterfly hinge opens nicely. Thanks to other reviews I always check that its closed before shaving as I heard it can come loose. I have never had it come open during shaving. It has a nice weight to it, which feels good in hand but might make it annoying to travel with if your watching your weight limits or trying to pack light. Now for the shaving.... I cannot say that this part of the review is specific to the product but it deals more with the idea of using this type of Razer vs. A disposable.1. I love that the waste is minimal and NO plastic is wasted.2. First time I had no cuts, but big patches of hair left on my legs. I was scared. And didn't try anywhere else.3. Second time I cut myself. But got braver... Tried the armpits. Where I did shave it was great, but again big patches left behind... But that was because I just couldn't get to the deep bits... If that makes sense. No amount of stretching or moving helped. As a result I went over the same bits a few times which I have learned is not a good thing to do... Ouch!3. I've nailed the leg shaving now. No cuts. Super close shave. No Razer burn. But..... Its much slower than a gillete throw away and I'm still scared around the knees so I tend to have harry knees now. ( okay not that harry... But you know)2. I'm better at the armpits... But its still not 100%. ( its been almost two months). And to be honest because its winter I don't always shave.... But I used to... All the time... Now I just can't be bothered. )3. The lady bits. Hmm... Scary. Yes I tried. For the bikini area its amazing. No Razer burn anymore. But... I have to go really slow. I did a full shave once... And yes it worked... But it was scary and took so long!Verdict:I'm not entirely sold. I just feel like I keep avoiding it.... And when I do the shave is great but its kinda stressful, and oh! One time I shaved with an old Razer blade and I didn't realize until I got out and I had a million tiny cuts on my legs... They were bleeding everywhere.. It was nuts!I might have to go back to a gillete for my armpits and the full down below shave and then stick to this for legs and bikini area.I dunno.I like it in theorybut its kind of a hassle.But... I gave it five stars because if your gonna buy one... This one is great!

What a great surprise.
Im not new to the safety razor shave, my usual razor is a 34c and a progress but i thought i would give this little guy a chance. I didnt think i would use it but i finally gave in and tried it and wow i was surprised. It is mild but still does the job. It has a very different face feel than the merkurs but thats not a bad thing. I think if your just coming off a cart razor youll really like this. Plus the blade alignment is darn good every time you close it at least with my personnas

It’s a great inexpensive safety razor!
What can I say? This is identical to a safety razor I bought a couple years back in chrome which I love. So it functions and performs equally well. Except it has this great antique bronze (kind of brassy) finish. The blades sit nearly perfectly straight without adjusting. The angle the blade is held to works very well for my face. It’s not an aggressive cut and glides pretty smoothly. Using this with feather blades work well with only 2-3 strokes.I like these butterfly designs because there are no separate parts and these are easier to handle when your hands are wet. It’s a great inexpensive safety razor!

The butterfly mechanism works easily and smoothly
I purchased the Weishi after having bought and rejected the Parker 99R (See my review there). This razor is everything the Parker was not. It is slightly longer and lighter which I think are advantages. The butterfly mechanism works easily and smoothly. The turning knob is segmented making it easy to turn while wet. The handle itself has a rough texture which makes the razor easier to hold onto in the shower. When I started shaving with the Weishi, I stopped to make sure I had put a blade in. The shave was that smooth. This razor easily and gently got the hairs under my nose without any drag or cuts. And, this razor is $10 less expensive than the Parker.

Great razor
This is my first safety razor. I was kinda worried making the change from a cartridge razor to a double edge razor but those concerns were put to sleep when i used this razor for the first time. This razor is the perfect weight and paired with the blades that come with it are very forgiving for a first timer. I can proudly say I did not cut myself on the first shave. Lol. And also this is probably the closest shave i have ever had

well made razor
Well made, nice feel, smooth action.I purchased this to replace my other razor, that was a hand me down from my father, it was more of a travel size, I like the longer handle of the weishi.

Well made and wheel balance for the price
Pretty straightforward, simple to use, and of course looks really nice. One thing though that I really like about it is the weight. It's very well-balanced which makes it easier to use then a short handle safety razor.
