So, so good!
This book is wonderful. The story contains all the family drama: divorce, sibling rivalry, distrust, cancer, childhood trauma. On top of all this there is a mystery that needs to be solved. I did not see this ending coming. Add this book to your to be read list.

Wow! What A Page Turner
So many twists and turns. I connected it the characters from the start. Some Little known twin/triplet facts, Munchausen thrown in, family drama. Very spellbinding. Excellent read.

Ok book, nothing exciting. Took me longer than normal to finish
Not the worse book I have ever read but not one that you have to fight to put down. I definitely wouldn’t pay for the book.

Fast-Paced Domestic Thriller with an Unexpected Ending
Okay so THAT'S how you do a surprise ending! Really liked this one! This is a wonderful, twisty thriller that had a great cast of narrators. Jennifer is dying from a brain tumor but of course there seems to be something more going on. She has triplet daughters and a husband who left her for a younger woman after many years of marriage. The mystery deepens when Jennifer's medical records show that she might have had dangerous levels of lead in her blood in the past. Was that the cause of her brain tumor now? How was that fact overlooked? What seems to be a straightforward plot quickly develops into a layered thriller with a cast of lots of flawed characters.I loved the points of view of each of the daughters. Of courser Jennifer always believed herself to be a loving and devoted mother, but each of the girls added a new perspective to the story. And Jennifer's anger and bitterness toward her husband Jake might not be entirely his fault. Jennifer is hell bent on blaming Jake for the possible lead poisoning that could have caused her brain tumor but she is definitely an unreliable narrator! This is my first book by author Catherine McKenzie and I loved the writing. A good domestic thriller always grabs my attention, and this one was particularly well crafted. The ending was completely surprising. This was a fast-paced, entertaining book with very well developed characters. If you’re a fan of domestic thrillers, don't miss this one!

Loved this book
Triplets, Emily, Aline and Miranda had the perfect life. They are grown, living their lives when their mother, Jennifer receives the news that she has brain cancer. This diagnosis becomes a mystery for Jennifer. This is when the mystery really begins!

Sad, dark, disappointing.
I thought this book would highlight bringing a family together during a time of grief, and solving the mystery of the illness. Instead it focused on hatred, criticism, and dangerous parenting. I came away with feelings of disgust and sadness, not the feelings I would choose when selecting a novel.

Very realistic
Plot was engaging, although ending not a total surprise. Characters, at least four of them, for the most part well developed. You could understand their feelings.
