Rimblades Scuffs Alloy Wheel Rim Protector-Red, Up to 22" Wheels, Plastic, Wheel Protector

I applied these during cold weather which the manufacturer states you should not do. Prep is the key !! I cleaned the rims with the wipe provided and then applied the accelerator wipe and allowed 15 mins to dry. I then peeled back the protector strip only 3 inches from the protector rim. I then heated a 6 inch strip on the alloy wheel where the rim protector is being applied, Don't make it too hot !! - Just warm. I then stuck on the rim protector for those 3 inches. I then peeled back another 3 inches of the protector strip and started all over again. You must not rush this. Take it slow and easy. I took around an hour and a half for 4 wheels. I also used just a spot of super glue to marry the ends together. I then just gently warmed the entire rim area with the hair dryer. I then did not drive the car for 24 hours. Do not make it hot or the protector rim will soften too much and distort. I've seen some complaints on here but remember - Preparation is the key !!! Now go enjoy !!UPDATE: - 27th Jan 2019I've now had these protectors for a couple of weeks and travelled a few hundred miles and they still look good ! I will be buying another set for my BMW 6 Series. I've checked other makes and they literally "stick on" and no "lip". The Scuffs brand has an actual "lip" that curves around the back of the rim which obviously helps to keep it in place !!I still give it 5 Stars !!

It's all in the preparation. As long as you follow the instructions and prepare the surface correctly before installation then you wont have any adhesive issues. I used a tiny spot of super glue on each end to make sure they didn't peel back. Just CLEAN and PREAPRE the alloys properly and you won't have any issues 👍🏻

I did bought one before this one and was more flexible but when i got this one i did come with more goodies and extra adhesive that so far is been good i do found a bit hard the plastic to put on but have to get use to it i did found easy to put i do recommend to wash the wheels be fore and then use the clean then the extra glue and then take your time for a perfect fit so far it haven't come off yet so looks like is a good glue stick to it do i recommend well if you are curious and don't like to rush yes and its not bad for the money value

Purchased these less than 3 months ago and there off already coming off while driving 60mph doesnt exactly come off clean+ the noise told me it scratched my paint work and it did, not major but enough to make me mad at wasting this money on something that cant last more than a couple months!!

Terrible customer service item was faulty and I was told it was my fault because my wheel hard one mark on it which didn’t cause a problem the first time

Excellent product very easy to install had all 4 wheels done in 20 min and they look fantastic.

Originally had Rim Blades on the wife's car but this needed to be fitted buy a garage so decided to try these despite some questionable reviews. And I am glad we did they are made of a strong plastic material and stick well to the alloys and can be fitted by anyone in 10-15 mins.Great product would definitely recommend.
