My kids had a playdate with a friend who unfortunately peed on the floor. We only found out after the playdate, from my child's report. I had no idea where this happened and it wasn't obvious by smell or look. This came in handy to locate the exact spot, which was behind a couch by a closet door. I would not have found it without this UV flashlight. IT saved the day.

I bought this to make sure we were getting all the puppy urine out of my carpet while potty-training our new puppy. This light worked great! I was able to ensure the urine was cleaned properly, in fact I decided to start exploring my house with it. I clean and scrub toilets and thought I was doing a great job. I wasn't, I found some nooks and crannies that needed some TLC, but OMG the walls in my bathroom were so disgusting. I mean, there's a toilet with a big hole why was their urine on my wall?? But thanks to this blue light flashlight all was taken care of and I got to put all the males that live here or visit on blast. Just be aware; if you don't want to go on cleaning mode immediately, don't use this flashlight. Otherwise, enjoy a truly cleaner home.

The media could not be loaded.  Flashlight has a nice weight and size to it. Doesn’t feel cheap! The on off button clicks in smoothly. I like how the on/off button flashes as its plugged in to charge so you know when its still charging or when its done. The light was actually VERY VERY bright. I didn’t expect it. This thing is very powerful. Comes with the charging cable, and instructions (poor translation). The device is self explanatory. I bought this to easily spot counterfeit bills, but it definitely helps with finding stains/fluids on the carpet. Check the video review to see the crazy results and see how great this thing works! Battery life is good, I haven’t noticed any shortfall there. It came 3/4th charged, although I did plug it in and gave it a full charge when I first got it. All in all, it’s a neat little gadget to have around the house.

I love the fact that it is rechargeable. It's a good blue light, but unfortunately it does not show cat urine as well as I had hoped. If you know it's there and you look carefully, other wise you will miss. The area the lamp covers is not a lot, so if you want a larger area then this lamp is not for you.

Bought for scorpion locating. Definitely stronger beam than my current light. I was concerned that my light was a used returned item because according to the instructions there should have been a tab on the battery to be removed before using and there was not - Which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. This may or may not have been due to the fact that the instructions were a poor translation to English. Battery life to be determined so I am unable to rate that feature.

This has a strong focused beam. I use it for hunting scorpions in my backyard. It lights them up from 30 feet away. I’ve used it a dozen times and notice no change on brightness so it doesn’t eat batteries quickly. Haven’t had it long enough to know how efficient it is.
