This is is not a toy it's a visual treat and sturdy does not do it justice & rherein is the problem the globe in the hands of a child is damage waiting to happen.A beatiful item that I would love for myself but not for my Grandchildren.

Cable not long enough and connection dodgy kept cutting out cheap cable that connects for the light to come on so can't have it on

I bought it for my 9-year-old grandson who is crazy about space. I haven't yet seen it lit, but it must be beautiful.I think it is a good size, especially for small hands
