A gift to my granddaughter

A very clearly written and delightful story with beautiful illustrations. Ideal to introduce children to Heidi. The plot is simple and accurate.The story is in easy to understand language and builds the Childs self-assurance in there ability to succeed and progress.Perfect for children who are ready for chapter books in terms of content but who like plenty of illustrations to look at in a book as well as words. These are a great series of stories and excellent quality books.

Just right for my six year old granddaughter to read alone

Discovers the fresh air, mountains and adventure at her grandfathers and turned his cold heart warm again.It was a brilliant book. Of course my favourite character was the caring, courageous and funny Heidi, who inspired me to be more open and caring to others.My little Heidi loved a story with her name in and her favourite part was when everyone was happy.Great strater chapter book. Encouraging longer engagement and also allowing interaction with some pictures and reading for my 5-6 year old.

Bought as present for neighbour's child to take to America where they are to take up a new life. Book is beautiful quality and unbeatable price
