As I understand it from the published research, beetroot only lowers blood pressure for some people who have a genetic inability to convert nitrates to nitrites (or the other way round - can't remember ). I had lost weight, was doing a lot of exercise, but the numbers weren't coming down. I was on a small dose of medication, so it was ok, but not great. I decided to give these capsules a try after hearing the evidence on Woman's Hour. Today my diastolic pressure is a full 6 points lower than last year. The lowest it has been for years. I am ordering another packet!

I've tried everyway possible to eat beetroot, but this is the only way I can do it. Great product, but the powder solidifies towards the end of the batch. I will order in smaller quantities next time.

Very pleased to have discovered these capsules. I had borderline hypertension and could tell my GP wanted to get me on medication but I put off going back to see her and decided to try these first. They have reduced my BP to well within normal limits and would recommend anyone to try them if you don't want to be on medication.
