Great for deadlifts
Awesome deadlift shoes. Great traction and feel. Keeps your feet close to the ground with no heel lift for great deadlifting technique. No support for other exercises.

For strength training
So I’m writing this review to help others decide to get or not, so I’ve ALWAYS worn cross trainers tennis shoes, either Nike or Reebok but in recent months I’ve switched from just cardio to strength training and HIIT and my legs and knees have been putting in a beating, I’ve tried to figure out if it was incorrect movement or my shoes, and come to find out through trial and error it was my shoe, now it may be different for someone else as we are all different but when I would wear my Adidas EQT flat cross trainers (no arch) I was not getting the pain and DOMS as much and felt like with my sumos and RDLs I needed something completely flat, I do have arch but I have really strong feet so I did my research and purchased these, I wear a women’s size 7.5 and have wide feet, I first bought the 6.5 but they wear too too tight and it compressed too much then next day bought the 7 and it’s a perfect fit with socks, now I could have gotten away with the 6.5 without socks but I don’t want to have stinky shoes so knew I had to go half a size up and it’s a perfect fit! In my living room I tried a sumo and leg squat and what a difference! I saw that in the gym I was moving forward too much and not getting good stability so I know these are just what I needed, im not sure how they’ll hold up in the long run but for 34 bucks it’s worth a shot, I hope this help others, they are nice too but most importantly I think this will help with balance and proper form, for reference I will be wearing these at the gym doing functional trainingUpdate: these are phenomenal weight training shoes I know they ain’t Nikes but they have been so good to me, im a couple months they broke in and are even better than new, you got break em in and they have helped so much weight training highly recommend!!! Feels stable and grounded.
First off, 4 stars because I got the green ones. That's not what I ordered and I hate the color, they are just ugly to me. I work out at home so nobody is going to see them but me so I'm just dealing with it.Now for the good. These feel great on my feet and are so amazingly stable. I love that I feel connected to the ground whether stretching or loaded for a squat. My first workout in them felt amazing.Hopefully they last a season, I will probably wear them for kettlebell and mace workouts in the backyard this summer and buy another pair for indoors.

Just what I was looking for
For years I'd been working out at the gym with regular cross trainer (or similar) shoes. However, it got to the point where I felt I needed something less bulky and flatter on the heels for my squats, and this shoe fit the bill. It's well made, has enough comfort and stability, and good traction on my rubber floor mat. I normally wear a size 11.5 without socks and a 12 (in Nikes) with socks...and since I planned to wear low cut socks with these shoes so needed a slightly bigger size and went with a size 12.5 instead of the 11.5-12 recommended, and it fit perfectly. I will likely buy another pair soon.

Comfortable and Effective!
These foot huggers are comfortable and do exactly what I need them to do while lifting. I can feel the floor while wearing them and am stable while lifting. Great purchase!

Great shoes! Very comfortable.
These shoes are wonderful. Very comfortable. Lightweight. But not cheap feeling. I'm going to order them in red, too!
