Atkins' Physical Chemistry

The book is very useful for undergraduate and postgraduate students studying chemistry or any chemistry related modules/degrees. All information was clearly represented and carefully explained.

THE BIBLE OF PHYSICAL CHEMISTRY. A must-have for any undergraduate Chemist and those who want to delve deeper for the physical justifications behind chemical phenomena.

This book is great and my lecturers formulate their questions in the same style as this book, I just wish they made a Kindle version of this book or a PDF because it's a big book and weighs a ton... I can't carry it anywhere and for some reason they just don't make a Kindle version for some reason.... only complaint I have for this book, otherwise It's a must have for an undergraduate. P.S. If anyone stumbles on the PDF of this edition, send me the link! Help a guy out.

Great for Study

Good book for Physical Chemistry ! A reference !

Very good book for clearing on doubts on Physical Chemistry. This is not a text book for IIT-JEE, use it as a reference book.

Atkin's "PC" is one of the best books to assist and complement your PC studies. It will even be very useful without proper lecture notes, but you should be aware of the focus your PC department sets. Do not expect this book to cover all topics in depth up to M.Sc. level, but be reassured that it will give you a comprehensive knowledge and understanding clearly beyond B.Sc. The writing style is motivating to fascinating, and the explanations are clear. If you need some mathematical "brushing up", you will find concise support at the end of each chapter. Text layout and graphics are well done. Personally I prefer books with images and systematically applied colour to help with the (often abstract) content. The cover is rather thin cardboard, if you plan to carry this book with you a lot, you should consider some kind of lamination. The binding is quite good, not only glue but also with thread.

New edition of Atkins Physical Chemistry. There are so many improvements in this book, and it is, easy to read.

I studied from this book before. I use it for references.
