Comfort, stability and confidence.
I have suffered with ligament problems for years, and have found that wearing the brace has helped keeping my ankle stable but still fairly flexible, which sounds like a contradiction, but isn’t. I recently discovered after an emergency X-ray that a ligament is ‘floating’ with a piece of bone attached, which is excruciating. After a week of rest, I’m wearing the brace, and walking about whilst waiting for an MRI, in reasonable comfort. I have a size 4 (37) foot, and a slim ankle and wear a small, over a light weight sock.It can be tightened if necessary or worn a little looser whilst still supporting the joint. I usually walk up to 6 miles a day, spend up to 8 hours a week doing ballroom and Latin dance, so am an active person and this brace has kept me mobile and comfortable. My criticism would be that the side mesh covering the splints tends to wear out, but if you wear a sock over the brace it lasts longer.

perfect ankle brace!
I had a torn ligament in my right ankle, and tried numerous braces during the healing process. This one was recommended by my sports physio and it is by far the best; very comfortable and stable, I can do sports (soccer and racketball) without working about my ankle. Does not necessarily work for regular long distance running, as that will give blisters eventually (but what wouldn't). Highly recommend!

Good ankle brace
I sprained ligaments in my ankle and then needed a brace to give me extra support and confidence so I went for this one. It is good, however, I find the design not so clever in that the solid support goes right around from one side of your ankle down round the underside of your foot to the other side of your ankle and I feel it sore against my arch as there is no padding. I now put a bit of neoprene between it and my foot to resolve this problem.

Please note that according to Motioncare360, one of the the main UK importers the item should be in branded packaging (see pictures). It's also sealed from the manufacturer. Inside you'll find the brace and an instruction manual. If you have a cardboard box without the plastic wrap, or no cardboard box at all, then you probably have a customer return, which may or may not be OK with you: Be warned! My daughter has only just started wearing this but no complaints so far about comfort and it looks like it will do the job. I'll add some follow-up if anything comes up with it later.

Far too small and non-returnable
A complete waste of money!! It goes on like a sock, but it is way too small. I ordered the small as I’m a 6.5 shoe and followed their size guide. I gave it to my wife who is a 5.5 and while she could actually get it on, it was painful for her and she hasn’t got a damaged ankle. If you have any issues like I do, this is not a practical solution. I can’t even return it, so this has been a total waste of money and time!! I needed this for when my boot came off. Now I’m left without anything until I can get something more suitable! Very annoyed

Excellent
After injurying my ankle in October and it still being very swollen, and hurts when i run. I was itching to get back to playing netball - i found the ankle brace on line and ive never looked back. Its amazing. I just wish i could wear this with my high heels - as these are still a problem at the moment. Worth every penny.

Couldn't wear it as is too rigid and painful on swelling
Never got as far as using this, bought this and the Kuangmi Ankle Brace as I had damaged ligaments in my ankle. I couldn't even put this brace on- it was very rigid and was too painful around the swelling and bruising - the Kuangmi was perfect - so never really got to trial this as couldn't wear it - the other brace is brilliant though

Didn't work for me but I'm sure it can work for others!
I'm sure this is a fabulous product for some people but for me it was pretty hopeless. I'd ordered the smallest size but it was far too big and my ankle immediately dislocated because the metal splints weren't held tightly enough to my foot - my foot just rolled over within the brace (I have hypermobility so needed something that would hold it very securely). On the plus side, returning it was very straightforward. Also, the brace was very well-made which is why I've given it extra stars even though it didn't work for me!
