I was hesitant, but so far I'm loving this trash/recycling bin. My kid who has to take trash out more frequently due to smaller capacity is not. :) The can is as advertised, sturdy, easy to wipe clean and not overwhelming in size compared to other combined bins. We've had simple human cans over the last 10 years - two of them. They have a ten year warranty, and the peddles have broken on them both times, with no way to make a warranty claim since I don't have proof of purchase, so we won't be buying that brand again. The only complaint with this one is that there's no way to get the trash can out without touching the inside of the bag/liner, but that also means there's no gap for trash/dirt to fall into between the lip of the liner and the outer shell of the can itself. Hopefully this means the kids will not want to touch the inside of the trash and will remember to take it out before it's overflowing. Overall, just a really nice, simple and seemingly durable can.

Product arrived timely. There was a dent in one of the cans on the outside. My husband pounded out most of it and will finish it later. It appears it’s from being dropped.

Love the touchless features on this duo of recycling and trash bins. Touchless and silent. No more slamming lids. Looks elegant in my kitchen and matches my stainless appliances.

I read a lot of reviews before I purchased this one. I really wanted a dual can but was worried after reading reviews that said the bags were hard to get into the cans. I’ve ended up being very happy with my purchase. I’ve had the can three months now. It arrived in perfect condition—no dents. Maybe they improved the packaging since others complained. 13-gallon trash bags fit these bins. There is a hole to tuck the excess width at the top of the bag into and the bins then fit neatly inside with no bag showing. They aren’t too hard to remove unless I overfill the recycling and it’s too packed in there. I just have to remember not to be lazy, and take the trash out regularly! The dual can takes up less space that the two cans I had there previously. They are a bit smaller than what I had before and if you have a large household you’ll be taking the trash out a lot but for me it works very well. I was surprised at how many comments I got from friends and family about how great it looked and I even started a trend with other friends purchasing similar cans because they liked mine so much. I got a couple of magnets to put on the lids to identify trash v recycling and now guests don’t have to ask any more which is which.

This trash can is great! it makes me more apt to recycle-- which is great for the environment! I find that I recycle so much more that i have this trash can versus when I just had a recycle bin in my garage. I also find that I like the step open feature opposed to the motion sensor feature that alot of trash cans have these days- Dont have to worry about batteries burning out. And to top it all off the trash can is as aesthetic as it is functional. It is beautiful! it's stainless steel finish makes it look like one of the appliances! this is a must have.The only thing I can say about this is that I live alone and I find it perfect for me. The size might be a little small for a larger family- but that is just an opinion on my part.

I was very excited to receive this product. Looking forward to having recycling near the garbage in one clean and organize space. Unfortunately the problems outweigh the convenience.1) Both containers are very small (or maybe shape??) and when removing the correct gallon garbage bag is barely half-full. We have gone through more garbage bags in the past 2 months then we typically do in 62) Garbage bags do not stay in place, hangout the side (which makes it look terrible). Have to be adjusted virtually every time you throw something in it. The metal handle that is to hold the bag in place does not stay put. In fact after less than a week of using this garbage my husband removed the metal handle off of the recycling out of frustration. and when I say removed I mean just sent to the side because it falls out every time you pull the garbage out.3) The reason my husband remove the metal handle is because when you pull the full garbage out the handle hooks to it and tears the bag. Huge mess!!4) After just two months and two days of having this garbage the recycling lid has broken. There is a small plastic hook that holds it and allows it to go up and down. The bottom piece is broken off. In order to close it I have to put it back in place or be cautious when I open it so that it does not fall out. The odd part is the one that has broken is recycling which is used much less than the garbage 🤨Again, I will say I was very much so looking forward to this garbage despite the fact that my husband was very unhappy about the high price. Unfortunately, I flushed my money down the toilet. Looking for something much better than this.

This Trash Can / Recycle Bin works as described, just as I had hoped. It is the perfect size for my kitchen in all ways. It was somewhat expensive but I hope it continues to function the way it does for a long time. I do like the look / design of this Trash Can / Recycle Bin which is not something that is usually said concerning something to hold garbage. After all of the other Trash Can / Recycle Bins I have had, this one makes me happy.
