It's heavy and awkward, and not too comfortable.It's more comfortable for BIG men.I'd use it in a camp, or well equipped high stand,but if you plant to lug it in and out of the woods, leave your heavy gun at home.Also when I sit, and curl my fingers under, there are SHARP edges;I must remember to file them down so I don't gash my own fingers.Lots of sharp edges, and pinchpoints.

I bought this for hunting and I wanted a chair that could turn 360° quietly. It was easy to assemble, but once put together and sitting on it. It made loud noises as I turned. I took it apart just in case I put it together wrong, but that was not the case. It just makes loud noises and I do not use it for hunting anymore. For the price it is way too expensive and it is not worth the money. I can go to Walmart buy a hunting chair for $34 and get the same noise..

It’s about time someone made a comfortable outdoor rocking chair. Unsure about the labels on the springs, but the chair is most comfortable in the shooting position. Easy to assemble, high quality, and in my opinion, well worth the money. Sat a 10 hour day, without the backache I used to have afterwards. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a well built, sturdy, comfortable outdoor chair.

This item is listed as "Most comfortable chair in the outdoor chair market" and I have to disagree. It isn't horribly uncomfortable, but when you sit on it, comfortable is not the word that comes to mind. There are two different ways to assemble this chair, one for more upright sitting and one for reclining. I tried it both ways and I just don't care for it either way. In the reclining mode the chair leans forward when you are not in it. I'm a big guy, so I have no problem reclining in it, but when my wife or teenage boys sit on it, they feel like it is pushing them forward and they have to fight to push it back because they aren't heavy enough to overcome the spring tension properly.The unit is very well made, it is very sturdy and feels like a quality product. Assembly was fairly simple, I had to insert a bolt and install a nut using the two included wrenches. from that point you attach the seat portion to the legs using four bolts with big knobs on (you just spin them in with your hands). While this makes it fairly easy to disassemble and reassemble, it is more work than my wife would want to put into setting up a chair. I picked this up mainly for her, she does a lot of outdoor events and is sick of sitting in those standard camping bag chairs. She unfortunately doesn't like it, so I'll have to keep looking. I really liked how the legs are adjustable to different heights, allowing you to adjust to uneven terrain. It swivels very nicely as well. The biggest issue I have with it is the weight. I'm not a hunter, but I just cant imaging carrying something like this with me into the woods for hunting or camping. While the back of the seat folds down flat and the legs collapse, unless you unbolt the seat from the legs, it is awkward and heavy to carry around, even with the shoulder strap. If you don't have to take it very far, then it is a reasonable chair that is well made. It would have been better with some arm rests.

I do many outdoor activities from hunting to fishing. I have always been disappointed with hunting and fishing chairs on the market. I finally found one that puts all the rest to shame. THIS LITERALLY ROCKS! The chair is indeed heavy. I am happy this is the case because I cannot tell you how many times I have attempted to sit down in other chairs just to have the chair push away from me leaving my butt on the ground. This chair stays put wherever you put it. It’s extremely well made and durable. The materials used for the chair itself will last for a very long time. The fact this thing swivels and rocks with no sound is a win in my book. Ladies and gentlemen. If you spend anytime outdoors hunting or fishing and tired of junk chairs do yourselves a favor and get one of these.
