Great for coarse curly hair!
I love this flat iron. I have coarse curly hair and it works great. Heats up fast and I like the comb and auto shut off features.

Great flat iron I've seen so far.
Better flat iron than most I have tried.

Average styling iron. Don't see many special features.
To be honest, I'm simply not impressed with the functionality of this styling iron. I'm also a bit cynical about the claim of over 90% heat protection when used on my hair.I like the variable temperature setting, so you can choose how hot you want it. The clip on "brush" part doesn't really do anything. Dries the same whether it's on or off.It seems just like my CHI iron, and I was expecting different results due to the claim of no heat damage, so I just think it's average.

Buy it!!
Wow - I am so impressed with this!! It doesn’t take me very long and I have curled my mid shoulder length hair! I’m all about ease of use so I have gotten rid of a lot of hair products because I don’t have time to spend in front of the mirror... This was worth my time and money!!

It’s ok
Since it is “heat resistant” it doesn’t heat up as much as it said it should. Left my hair really frizzy.

Good for fine hair
For those that have reviewed negatively for thick, curly, coarse hair - I believe that the claim of this iron is that it is good for the opposite of that - being fine/fragile hair that would be more prone to damage caused by direct heat on typical plates. I have only been using it for a couple of weeks, but I do notice that it does not pull my fine hair, gets the job done with the minimum amount of heat (I use 300), and allows me to add some wave without creating bends or creases. Overall I am happy with the iron and recommend it for those with fine, fragile and/or thin hair (mine is not thin but is not super thick either).

It sucks.
I hate this hair straightener. I got this one because I accidentally stepped on my last straightener and I broke it. I wanted one that wouldn't do too much damage to my fine but frizzy/curly hair. Well it won't do much damage because it doesn't get hot enough unless I have an hour to do my hair, which I dont. My hair is thin, and shouldn't take the maximum heat. I never go hotter than 345 or maybe 400 degrees, but I have to keep this one on max heat which is ridiculous. I ended up gorilla gluing my other broken one so I could use it but it ended up breaking again so im just screwed.
