So much cheaper than the original Remarkable cover. And it will protect your device in a much better way too. So unless you want the feeling of leather, go for this one.

I know, it looks flimsy and cheap, but it's not. (hint, the clear window is for the back)It's standing up really well to frequent use, holds my stadler jumbo perfectly, and is thing enough to be out of the way but add adequate protection.The only caveat is the charging port is too narrow for most cables, but if you use the stock remarkable charging cable, it'll fit perfectly so it's hard to fault the cover.Overall would absolutely recommend.

In contrast, this new design features a wrap-around case (like an Otterbox) that protects all corners, including the power button and the USB Type C connector. The clear acrylic backing is also a nice aesthetic touch.-The quality/texture of the vinyl covering on the front is also superior to the older productCons:-Slightly difficult to open; there is no tab to pull on to lift the coverConclusion:Because I bricked one Remarkable2 by dropping it (from only 20 inches) and thereby permanently damaging/locking-in the power button, I am definitely keeping my Remarkable2 tablets in this newer wrap-around case and would recommend anyone else who travels with their Remarkable2 to keep it in a protective case like this product. Very well made, aesthetically pleasing, and a good deal....

Great case, saved my bacon a number of times

After using it for a couple of weeks, it turns out this is an excellent case.Firstly good protection. My rm 2 dropped face down from my desk but not broken anywhere. Secondly, the case is not very bunky and also looks nice.Recommended!
