like the conjunction of Mars and Venus on February 22
Stunning pictures of space illustrate this calendar. The months from September to December 2014 complete with moon phases and a picture of globular cluster M15 are on the first two pages. The 12 months of 2015 each have their own page and a gorgeous picture. Future events, like the conjunction of Mars and Venus on February 22, 2015; anniversaries, February 8, 1965 Ranger 8 crashes into the moon scouting an Apollo landing; and the equinoxes, solstices (Note to designer of the 2016 calendar: add the UTC times); and the daily moon phases are all listed or pictured. And there is plenty of room on the calendar to write in your own appointments, notes or trips to wherever..

Slendors of the Universe 2015 "Astronomy" calendar
I was hoping for a calendar that showed all the celestial events for 2015. This is a far cry from that. The photos are very nice, but as far as a reference for star watching and the such, forget it. Of the meteor showers,Quadrantids Night of January 3 In view most of the nightLyrids Night of April 21/22 Sets after midnightEta Aquarids Night of May 5 Full MoonPerseids Night of August 12 Rises at dawnOrionids Night of October 21 Sets after midnightLeonids Night of November 17 Sets in late eveningGeminids Night of December 13 Sets in early evening.only the Perseids and Geminids are posted on the calendar days. Come on. I got more information off my local community calendar, which is free. Comes off as a, 'ha ha, gotcha' thing. 'Some pictures, use the word Universe and these nerds will buy anything'. Hopefully the Bill Nye sponsored 'The Year in Space' calendar will be better, as I bought it for my friends two boys to perhaps get into something other than video games. Live and learn. Enjoy

Splendors of the Universe 2015 Astronomy
This calendar with the great pictures as well as the phases of the moon is wonderful! The days have lots of space, even though they include the phase of the moon & corresponding symbols, to jot down notes like doctors appointment 1PM. My husband & I are really enjoying it. If you have a wall that needs some brightening I'd recommend you buy it now at reduced price just for the pictures you won't regret it.

Fountain pens and pencils do not leave a mark on the super slick surface
Gorgeous and informative calendar. Only drawback is that I have only been able to write on it with a ball point pen. Fountain pens and pencils do not leave a mark on the super slick surface.

Four Stars
beautiful calendar, but the paper is too glossy to make notes on, with a pencil or regular pen.

the boxes are smaller than I wanted to write stuff in. I guess my Universe is too expansive for this calenday

Magnificent
The photos on this calendar are spectacular. If you enjoy pictures from Hubble or the Cassini probe...these are just as magnificent. This is one I'll enjoy looking at month by month. Plenty of room for notes or appointments in each day's block.

Beautiful pictures, but I'm just noticing that the date for father's day is incorrect! It's posted in the calendar as being June 16th (which is a Tuesday) when it is actually on June 21st (the following Sunday / same day as the summer solstice).
