"Beach Glass" Stained Glass Mosaic Marble 12 Inch Lazy Susan and Trivet Set

This set is a one of a kind piece of functional art. The lazy susan and trivet set has a solid marble base. It has been decorated using stained glass to create a unique mosaic design. This is not your usual shiny stained glass look. The glass has been tumbled, resulting in a muted "beach glass" appearance. The pieces are smooth so there are no sharp edges to worry about. Each piece is cut or nipped by hand. Then it's tumbled for a day or two. Each piece is then glued, grouted, cleaned and sealed. I rarely sketch out a design beforehand. Each piece is created in real time, starting with one section and continuing until the piece is complete. This set would make a great wedding or hostess gift. Or keep it for yourself and place it on your dining table for an artistic centerpiece. The colors are various neutral shades of tans, browns, rust and white. A coordinating gray grout is used to give the pieces a professional, finished look. The lazy susan is 12 inches in diameter. The trivet is 7.75 inches in diameter. To clean, just wipe with a damp cloth. Please do not immerse in water.
