The plaque is printed on one side, the reverse is left completely blank and is just plain wood. There is a length of brown twine included with the plaque which threads through two holes on the top of the sign.There is a heart on the front of the plaque, to write the number of days in. The set doesn't include any chalk, but chalk pens work really well on it. The writing is easily removed using either cleaning wipe or damp cloth.The plaque is well printed and it's easy to read. I like that it's small and thin as it means it could be put in an album after the wedding and kept as a keep sake.
