I'll freely admit that I am not an audio expert by any stretch of the imagination. I have been known to make do with headphones costing as little as £1 in the past!These are an obvious step up from that level of quality. They certainly look the part. The flat cable is designed to reduce tangling, which seems to be the case in my experience, although I should note that it doesn't eliminate it entirely.I am not a huge fan of this "ear bud" style of headphones as I find it difficult to keep them in my ear. Probably something to do with the shape of my ears rather than any kind of inherent manufacturing or design flaw! However I find that these are better than most at staying put.Sound is really nice, although as noted I am no expert.

Cheap and cheerful basic earphones and I don't have any complaints with them. I like the colour (red) which is a nice change from my usual black or white, they're comfy to wear and stay in quite well, and the sound seems adequate for this price range. I listen to a lot of audio books and podcasts and these are nice and clear with the spoken word. They work with music too, obviously, but that's not what I use them for predominately. I think the flat cables do actually work to cut out the usual tangling but it's still early days yet...

These are great headphones with a good sound. They come with a choice of ear tips toensure a good fit. The cable is flat so it doesn't tangle.

Love SOL's design and sound quality. Unfortunately broke within a month and the use was not aggressive! Returned for full refund.

I listen to a lot of music, probably 8-10 hours every day, mostly using headphones. I've worked my way through very many sets of in-ear and on-ear headphones, so I have pretty ghood idea of what works for me. Well, these make a good first impresison. I really like the look of them. The design uses very simple shapes, which succeeds by not look the least bit flash. The cable, in matching red colour, is flat and is not prone to getting itself knotted. The combined audio player and phone controls on the left channel are standard stuff, and work fine with my Samsung phones and my old iPod Classic. The music controls are up/down volume, next-previous track, pause/play. The phone controls are answer/hang-up, mute, hold. The controls are responsive, so no complaints there.Sound quality is impressive. It has unusually impressive poke at the lower frequencies, and is loud, and it carfries through well to the top end. The sound is inevitably lacking when compared to a set of Bose surround sound headphones, but even so, these Sol headphones perform much better than a standard Apple set.I have to say that the packaging is absurd, with the headphones threaded through cardboard in such a way that I ended up splitting one of the squashy pads in the unpacking process. There are cable ties too, twisted very tightly. That said, I also reviewed these The instruction leaflet is fine. That said, I also tested a set of these in blue, and found the packaging of those of better design.So, in my view these are a good buy,, functional and sweet-looking, and capable in sound performance. Reports of them not lasting long are a worry, but mine have been working fine so far. I like the knot-free cables, the inline controller, and the design of them, which all adds value to what is a pretty good price point for the performance on offer.

A good basic set of in-ear earphones. Comes with a choice of earbuds of different sizes. Sound quality is better than super-cheap ones but not as good as the high end ones I have. Fits well in my temperamental phone and ancient old MP3 player (normally kept on docking station for kids music). Well worth the price and would make a great stocking filler.

どうしても赤いイヤフォンが欲しくて探していてたどり着きました。solという新興メーカーのイヤフォンです。音質はそれなりですが、値段を考えると良い方だと思います。ズンズン響くタイプではないですが、安物のシャカシャカでもなく、中の上くらいでしょうか。イヤフォンは1年くらいで壊れて買い直す派なので、超高級を買う気にはならないので、このくらいが丁度いいです。ケーブルが平たいタイプです。くるくる丸めて持ち歩いて3ヶ月くらいですが、まだ断線してません。コスパ重視でデザインもという方におすすめです。
