IF YOU'RE NOT SURE ABOUT BUYING THIS: (REVIEW UPDATED - be warned)
Below was my initial review in mid-July, all was going well:***A bit of background:A group of us were in the Lake District for a week and we had no speakers for music, I'd heard from a friend of mine that the "Tecevo S10" is a must-buy, "So loud and only £12", I was interested. So I bought it on a Tuesday, it came on the Wednesday. I've had it for a few weeks now and have been using it constantly. Here's what I think:Sound Quality - Great range, with more bass coming into play depending on what surface you put it on. The surface makes a big difference, if you find the right one, the sound is unbelievable. I recommend the edge of a big table as a good spot. It has UNBELIEVABLY clear sound, no crackling or anything.Volume - It's very loud. Don't worry.Battery - I'm guessing 8 hours continuous playback. That's a long time.Weight - It's pretty heavy, but really small, feels high-end.Build Quality - Great metal finish (gets a few smudges), I got the silver one, there is a black one which is more expensive but the same, I'd recommend forking out something like an extra £8 for it, it would look reaally nice in Black. Silver is great though too.Buttons - They're plastic, they change songs, they turn it on and off, it even has a slot for MicroSD - which I haven't used yet. (You'd probably have to spend a lot of time cycling through songs if you used that method...) The buttons seem slightly fragile and tacky, they're fine so far. The only con in this list of pros?Packaging - It's funny how bad it is. A shiny high-end product wrapped in a crinkled paper box.Bluetooth - Takes seconds to connect, it's range isn't great, but when are you not going to be near the speaker? It's fine.Competition - EasyAcc made one, they make brilliant portable chargers (Check out the Deluxe 2nd Gen one), but the speaker is not as good. I bought an X-Mini a long time ago too, not even close to the S10.Conclusion - a small version of the Bose Soundlink Mini (£149), it's not as big (1/3 of the size) so misses out on a bit of bass and volume, but for a tenth of the cost... It's an unbelievably good buy, I've recommended it to around 5 people, they all have one now. For £12, it's a diamond in Amazon's rough.***It stopped working on 24th August. It lasted a month. It's all in working order and great condition, except no sound comes out at all.It pairs... It changes song... Pauses songs... But no sound comes out. Nothing.I'm sure this is a one-off?It's sad because it's way better than the popular EasyAcc one (the S10 doesn't distort at all at high volume. ever. loads of the others do.. it's horrible)But Tecevo what's up with it just stopping?

Annoying Hissing sound
I have recommended this speaker to a few people and they were all happy with the item. I think once you get over the hissing sound, this is a cracking piece of kit!===============================================Edit: I have now uploaded a few pics of this speaker along with the SW100.I bought this unit because of the 5 star reviews here, and here are my observations:Packaging of the unit is now improved as opposed the first one I received. It is similar to the box that phones like the S3/Note 2/Nexus 7 come packaged with.Design of the unit is good, but there is room for improvement. Why the hell is the wired music input integrated with the mini USB charging port? It could have been separate to be more universally compatible. The speaker should also come with a charger, otherwise I will have to bring my computer when I go on holiday just to charge such a little unit, this defeats the speaker's purpose of portability. The usb port is a MINI usb instead of the more universally used MICRO USB. They could have used a MICRO usb port here so mobile phone chargers could be used to charge the speaker. Some nice features on this unit though are the volume controls which also double as FF and Reverse so you can control the tracks via the speaker. Another bonus feature is the inclusion of a microSD card slot which allows you to play mp3's direct from the memory card.Sound is good for its size, punchy bass, and better than the jam speaker, and when set at the same volume (the S10's volume adjusted on the unit to match the volume of the SW100) it is a little punchier than the SW100 which I also have, but the SW100 is a little more clinical in nature. The annoying thing with this speaker is when the unit is paired via bluetooth, there is a constant hissing sound which can be easily heard when the unit is playing on low volume - this is present on both units I have had. Same is true and present when the unit is playing mp3 via the microsd slot. The annoying thing is, even when you turn the volume down to ZERO on both phone and speaker, the hissing is still there. The only solution to drown this hissing noise is turning the volume up, which is not helpful when listening to audio books or something like that at night.Customer support for this product is excellent, I have received a replacement product in a timely manner direct from the supplier.=============I brought the speaker to work and I was asked by my colleague to order one for him, and so I did... I am sad to say that on this unit, the hissing is also present, so I guess this is a characteristic of the speaker which can be regarded as a "fault" . I will leave it to him if he can bear with it...=============Overall, based on the unit I have, I will rate this device 4 stars!!!

Get the right memory card!
I bought my first one with a 16 Gb TF card, I thought the speaker was faulty as, having loaded the card with music, every time I used the MP3 feature it would play so far in to a song and then default to Aux. so I sent it back and got a refund. I decided to purchase another but this time I bought an 8 Gb TF card to go with it, I tried both cards and discovered that with the 8 Gb card there was no problem, but the 16 Gb card produced the original fault. We are so impressed with this item we are thinking of buying one for each of our (grown up) kids as we are sure they will love it for Christmas! For such a small speaker the bass is incredible, especially when placed on a solid surface, all the features provided with this speaker make it a very desirable item, especially considering the price. If I had any negative points to say about this item then it would be that it should be made clear in the advertising that it only works with a TF card up to 8 Gb, but having worked that out, I still think it deserves the 5* rating, a 'Good Buy'.
