Great product
Cleverly designed product that was a perfect fit (size XL) for my size 13 (UK) trail shoes. Gripped well on packed snow and ice giving me confidence to run in wintry conditions.

Fit for purpose
The design ensures that the front cannot slip from the toe of the boot. So far the back hasn't worked loose either. Happy customer.

Just great
Fit well and brilliant. They do what it says on the tin....well the box. Ice, snow...no problem

Half marathon in the arctic, no problem
Pushing a sledge in the arctic for a half marathon run never slipped or felt unsteady through the whole thing on ice. Fit easily over trainers turning your comfy running footwear into snow demons.

Winter essential for every runner
Great product! Bought this season and has meant that while others were at home looking out the window... we were out smashing out long runs! Much more confident running on snow and ice with these. Would highly recommend!

One big design flaw...
I have run about 30miles in these on snow and ice, primarily on Scottish hill paths but also frozen snow covered forestry tracks.First the good (the bit earning the 2 stars):- Fit is excellent and at no point have I ever felt that they could come loose or slip off the back of my shoes whilst running- The back half of the based where stainless-steel coils are used gives good grip and provides confidence, especially when descending steep ground and you rely on heel gripNow the bad:- The front grip comes from carbide steel spikes mounted into a plastic mould. On first use these performed well on thick ice as I was impressed. However after only 30 miles the grip has been significantly reduced to the point that it is no better than the sole of my running shoe. On inspection (see photo) the carbide steel spikes have deformed within the moulding so they are no longer in a position to give adequate grip. The flaw is in the plastic moulding, you can have all the carbide steel you like but if the moulds can't take the forces they are useless. I am not a heavy runner (6ft 1in and 67kg) and a forefoot striker so rely on the front half of a shoe for grip. To see deterioration happen on the terrain they are advertised for use on in only 30miles is very disappointing.I will be looking to return these and getting a pair of yaktrax pro which to me look the same good design but use the stainless steel coils across the whole of the sole which from my experience will hold up significantly better.

These were absolutely excellent in thick snow
I purchased these as I was headed up to the Trossachs over the New Year period, expecting heavy snow and crazily wanted to be able to keep up with my daily running. These were absolutely excellent in thick snow, compacted ice, slush and everything in between. I did not find them difficult to put on (make sure you get the correct size!) and once on, they felt very secure. It takes a few minutes to adjust to the different feel of running with them on, but once you get going it was fine. Everybody else was doing a great job of impersonating bambi skating on ice, and I was cruising on past :)One word of warning though, if you're running in variable snow where there might be patches of tarmac without any snow/ice (e.g. while it is raining and some has cleared but heavier snow areas haven't) then the little pegs on the front can get twisted in their sockets and might need twisting back again to the right orientation. I ended up going without as soon as the majority of the snow had lifted, as I didn't really need them by that point. Also, as stated on the info, do not wear indoors!!!!Thanks Yaxtrax!

Didn’t fit.
I’m a size 12 but these couldn’t fit round my shoes which is a shame. Having a glance, they do look like they would grip quite well. Unfortunately never had the chance to try them out and had to return them.
