Excellent value
Been using 2 of these in my studio for 7 months, not a single issue, no hum, no hiss, no loss, all metal, well worth the money.

48 channel rack mount patch bay
Solid and reliable rack mount patch bay, good value for the price point. I use this in a live keyboard rack, to provide convenient front inputs and outputs to my rack sub mixer which has it’s connections on the rear.

Great value-for-money multimode patchbay
My first patch bay! Didn’t quite know what to expect, but this thing seems to check all the boxes. The case is very sturdy and feels quite weighty. However, when you’re wiring up your rear sockets, the corresponding ones on the front panel do show signs of movement, which I’m not sure whether to be worried about or not. If you are new to patch bays (as I am), I suggest recycling the included manual because reading it left both the wife and me baffled, and go watch some of the very good tutorial videos on YouTube instead. Behringer need to get it re-written, preferably with copious usage examples. Once you get your head around what to plug in where, how to patch things properly on the front panel, and what the three socket modes do, it’s a walk in the park. I also suggest (if you’re new to patch bays) that you test your configuration first before installing it into your rack to get the hang of it. My rack cabinet is rather tall and deep, so reaching those rear sockets is not so much fun. If you want to put labels on your front panel, you might want to get one of those Dymo label maker gun things to produce sticky labels since the front panel has two unhelpful black strips that you can’t really write on. Finally: if all your drum machines, synthesizers, FX units, etc. are going through your shiny new patch bay, you’re gonna need to double-up on leads: one lead in, one lead out. So buy those. Then buy some more. And if you’re going to be patching via the front panels a lot, buy some more for that too. And don’t skimp on cable length like what I did. In conclusion: I bought this during Behringer’s 2024 summer sale for just over £50. For that money—if you don’t mind looking elsewhere for instructions, and only need it for home studio or educational use—I think this piece of gear is great value.

it isn't top rate stuff but things like patch bays either work or they don't - not ...
Behringer equipment is always panned by the "experts" while in truth there is nothing much wrong with it. No, it isn't top rate stuff but things like patch bays either work or they don't - not exactly much to go wrong. I have one of these and it seems well built to me, brilliant German design and easy to use.

Great value!
I have been buying used ones and till recently found them new on Amazon and much cheaper to buy than the second hand ones I bought but we always make mistakes but no more mistakes I guess I will have to try Amazon in future.

Solid As A ... I Dunno, Something Really Solid ;-)
It was an Amazon review by a radio studio installer that prompted me to eschew my preferred brand Neutrik for this Behringer patch panel (well, it was cheaper too). The guy expressed that he was using them in all his installs now because they're rock solid and highly reliable. Okay, I thought, this sounds good, and pressed 'Add to cart'. I can confirm that it's solidly built and I've had no problems. My only moan is that there's not exactly much space for labeling but, hey, it's not a perfect world, is it? I ended up making my own label strips at a height of 7mm and, although they were fiddly to stick on there for my fat old fingers, this worked out well. So, thank you very much Uli Behringer, you revoltingly rich but nonetheless personable entrepreneur. Highly Recommended. :-)

Excellent produit
