Do you have grown kids who still think your house is their house? Yeah, me too. Finally got tired of hearing them say they lost their key, or can't find their key not too mention replacing them. After doing some research, we came across this keypad and decided it would fit the bill for our needs. I was able to install it myself, the hubby was a little irritated I got it, he thought the kids shouldn't have easy access to our house all the time. Anywho, I installed it, it was relatively easy to do, although a second pair of hands would have made it super easy. Coding it was easy as well. I like that it has a function for just a one time use, like if you have a neighbor or friend taking care of your house for you or a repairman. It lights up once you touch any key which makes it easy to read at night, it also makes a noise letting you know it is unlocked. After so many seconds it will automatically lock back rather you open it or not. We have been using this on a daily basis for about 6 months and it still works great. I did use a Duracell battery in it rather than the one that came with it and it's still going strong. I have not had any of the issues that other reviewers have had at this time, but will keep you posted if I do.

We'll never be locked out again. I never liked hiding a key outside but it is almost a necessity with a standard keyed lock. When the kids were young we had one hidden outside but we came to find out that everyone in the neighborhood soon knew where it was because the kids locked themselves out so often when they had friends over. To make sure the house was secure we ended up rekeying or replacing all the locks. Theres no no need to do that with this lock...If someone does get access to your code simply delete it and set another. Love it.Install was fairly straight forward with reasonably clear instructions and since this was my second install of this type of lock only took about 20 minutes including the time it took to remove the old lock.Things I love about this lock- I will Never be locked out again- Fit and finish are beautiful- Heavy quality feel- Easy to program- Easy Install- Easy Operation- Ability to program multiple codes (I programmed unique and easy to remember codes for everyone in the family)- Auto lock feature ( can set it to auto lock after 5 seconds by rotating the thumturn to the horizontal position or remain unlocked by rotating the thumb turn to the vertical position before closing the door)Bottom Line - Quality product that is easy to install and operate. After seeing lots of reports on Ring about car break-ins, I installed this on the door from the porch into the garage to replace an old, flimsy turn button. I never locked that door because using the key was a hassle. The new lock fit perfectly and worked the first time. Good instructions, well-engineered product.I like the knob on the inside that changes the lock setting from on to off. On normal days, it's set to engage the lock when the door is closed. On days when I'm working on a project and in/out of the garage a lot, I set it to disengage so I can come and go without the code. Then it's a quick flick to re-engage at the end of the day.Entering my code takes a few seconds and the lock opens instantly.

Very good product. Was very easy to install. Aesthetically, it looks very nice. It has plenty of heft which leads me to believe it will not easily be damaged (unless of course by vandal or force... and any door knob is not going to fair well in those circumstances). Love the convenience of this keyed entry knob. It's quiet and smooth... and definitely works better than the Morning industries coded door knob that it replaced  MORNING INDUSTRY INC QKK-01SN 3-In-1 Remote Control & Touchpad Doorknob, Satin Nickel  . The buttons are very responsive and user can punch them quickly and expect a response.Probably the only grip I have about this coded door knob is that it only accepts a 4 digit code. That's okay.. .but I would really rather have at least a 5 or 6 digit code.All and all, very happy w/ the product though.

I use the lock on an interior door for privacy. The lock can be opened with a key or using the keypad. It only came with one key though. I had another key made. Easy to install.

I installed one of these on a rental property entrance door in early January, and so far so good. The installation itself was pretty easy (granted I was replacing a knob so the hole and everything was already in place for me), as was the programming. No more than fifteen minutes from un-boxing and we were up and running.The construction is good. It feels nice and "heavy" and the keypad buttons have a nice feel to them. I like the look, and it fits well with the style of my older home.I had read in some reviews of the batteries dying quickly, or the unit otherwise failing in very cold weather. I've experienced no issues and it's still running on the initial batteries, four months later.Tenants appreciated the extra peace of mind, and so do I. Definitely recommended.

This is one of the best products we've ever purchased for the house. Its easy to use. We both have our own codes and created a "guest" code that we can change on a more frequent basis. I can leave the house for a hike and not have to take a key with me. Also we don't have to hide a key, which in my opinion is SO unsafe. We chose this over the newer fancy products that Schlange has like bluetooth and a touch screen pin pad because less things can go wrong with this one. Also its just a matter of time that the bluetooth one can get hacked.We have 2 of these locks, on our garage and our house. Had them for about a year and never had an issue with them. We also live in an area where temps range from -20'F to 95'F.

I had an issue with homeless people trying to break in my apartments regularly. It was getting expensive until I switched to Schlage. Now they don't even try. Added bonus is one calls me because they are locked out anymore. Thank you!

MUY BUENA CERRADURA Y FACIL DE INSTALAR

As the title say this provides secure keyless entry, would have been good if there was a easier way to set and remove codes, but since I didn't want internet connection this was good.

Fue sencilla la instalación aún y cuando nunca había instalado previamente una chapa, sólo siguiendo el instructivo la pude instalar en menos de 1/2 hora la chapa funciona genial y mi puerta luce muy bien...!!
