Universal Travel Adapter Wall Charger - More Than 150 Countries - 4 USB Ports

Got this as a recommendation from a traveler. I needed an newer adapter and this did it for me.

I love cruises. My wife and I would be on a ship once a month if we could. If you've ever cruised on lines like Carnival before, you know that the number of sockets in staterooms is an issue. There are plenty of non-surge protecting cords you can buy, but most of them have a certain amount of bulk and take up a lot of space. What I like about this brick in particular is its compact size. I don't need a giant cord wound up in my limited cabin space. I just plug this bad boy into the wall, and boom. I'm good to go. At the time of this review it has held up really well, and hasn't demonstrated any issues charging multiple devices. Should that ever change, I'll be sure to amend my review.

I've had a similar adapter for a few years, but it only offered USB 3.0 ports, which was standard at the time. It was a lifesaver when I traveled from the US to continental Europe to Ireland all in one trip. I only needed one gadget for charging my gear.But now a lot of devices are coming with a USB-C charger, so I needed to upgrade my beloved travel adapter. This Aerotrunk is perfect! It offers the standard in-wall plugs for outlets in the US, UK, EU, and AU. This covers the bases for a lot of the world.It also offers ports for charging devices by USB. Three USB-3 ports and one USB-C port. So I have more charging ability than I had with my last device.If you don't want to carry a sack of adapters and cables, get this! It covers pretty much all your needs for charging in any country. Please note, though -- if you're using a device that has strict voltage requirements (110v or 220v) like a hair dryer or an iron, this device does NOT convert the voltage. If you use a device that has adaptable voltage, like a mobile phone, tablet, or computer, this is all you need.

This universal travel adapter is really compact. It is literally a small cube that you can throw into your carry on and won’t take up much of your precious suitcase space. All the prongs for the different countries or regions are retracted so nothing is sticking out. It also has 3 USB-A and 1 USB-C Ports, which is super convenient since this is how we charge most of our electronic devices these days. It is also great to use at home to charge multiple electronic devices.

I got this adapter for an upcoming trip. As others have noted, it offers the convenience of having the option to use it in many parts of the world, all in a small amount of valuable suitcase/luggage space, allowing you the option to throw in that extra pair of socks or anything else that you might need for your travel.Also, keep in mind that even though it has 4 (3 USB-A/1 USB-C) ports, its max output capacity is rated for 2 at 2.4 amps each or 5 amps total. I have not tested this limit myself and I don't intend to find out if it can be exceeded just to be safe.

This travel adapter (not a convertor! also not meant for small appliances, not anything that pulls a lot of voltage) is great. What a luggage space saver -- here in one item, you have multiple USB plugs to charge your USB-charge devices, even as you can use the plug in the wall to charge a laptop, etc. (Laptops don't usually need a voltage converter, but you should make sure that whatever you're using is good to go and will convert the voltage itself or you will damage it.)You can use your own country plug into the item while the output works for more than 150 countries -- other than South Africa or india, you're good to go.

When traveling we always seem to end up packing more USB cords than wall chargers but now we can charge multiple devices no matter where we're visiting without issue. The sliding mechanism for the different plug styles is easy to change and I love that it's self-contained so I don't have to remember to pack different adaptors.I also have a few USB powered holiday decorations that I've been reluctant to use since I don't really want to give up multiple wall chargers over the holidays and now I can plug all the decorations into this one unit and still charge my phone as normal! Definitely going to come in handy in a variety of situations.
