Bought this for my gt gt grandaughter who's four,really lovely book of old and new nursery rhymes.great value for money. I find it strange that the hard back version was cheaper than the paper back.

If you’re looking for a nursery rhymes book, this is excellent. Illustrations also pretty.However I have now decided that I hate nursery rhymes. Most of them don’t make sense and the rest either involve tragic stories or rhymes that are made up of repeated lines, expressions. I understand that what matters to little ones is how they sound but I still don’t think we should treat them as idiots. Also at the end of the day it’s me who needs to read them over and over again and I swear by the time I got through the book, I lost half my IQ.

Just what I wanted. A beautifully illustrated simple nursery rhyme boom

This book is a delight. The front cover has a slight padded feel to it and the characters are in a glossy print contrasting with the matt blue of the book cover. There are over 100 nursery rhymes and all are illustrated in a watercolour format. Some are very familiar and others not so. If you can't remember the 'tune' of the rhyme you can make up your own.

I love this book, gave it as a gift and as always Usbourne does not dissapoint with great illustration and it looks so nice and easy for parents to read to little ones

I am highly delighted with the book in particular the padded front and the illustrations. It's a good size....not too big for a child to hold. 5*****

Good rhymes n illustrations.. worth the price

Learning that Nursery Rhymes are important in many ways for child development, I shopped for a book that was not too old and not too modern. This book is lovely, tastefully illustrated, beautiful in every way.

We love this book. Its our bedtime read and though we have never heard of some of the rhymes, we sing most of them and love the pictures too. Also helped our almost 3 year old late talker to sing many rhymes

Es una colección muy completa que incluye las nursery rhymes más populares. Las ilustraciones son preciosas, así que estoy contenta con la compra. Le daría 5 estrellas si incluyera (aunque fuera optativo) un CD con las canciones para poder leer y cantar al mismo tiempo con los peques. El formato del libro es más pequeño de lo que imaginaba, pensaba que sería tipo A4 y es casi la mitad pero eso fue culpa mía por no comprobar las dimensiones, si fuera un poco más grande sería incluso más bonito, aunque bien es cierto que así es más manejable para los niños.
